If you do a google search for “nootropics” or something similar, you’ll likely see hundreds of different supplements that come up. After all, many people are hopping on the nootropics train to get an edge in cognitive performance and overall brain health. But with so many nootropic supplement options out there, it’s important to make sure you’re getting a supplement that can really provide the right benefits.

In this review, we’ll take a closer look at one nootropic option called HVMN Rise. This supplement is designed to provide your body with a plethora of benefits, but can it truly measure up? That’s exactly what we’ll find out in this HVMN Rise review!

About HVMN Rise

HVMN Rise was created by Health Via Modern Nutrition (HVMN). In addition to Rise, HVMN has produced a variety of other well-known supplements, including Ketone-IQ, HVMN Yawn, HVMN Nootrobox, HVMN Kado, HVMN Keto Collagen+, HVMN Sprint, and more.

HVMN Rise is designed to be a daily nootropic supplement. It supposedly contains scientifically backed ingredients that offer a number of benefits for cognition and brain health. It is advertised primarily as a nootropic supplement for memory, but there are other claimed benefits too.

HVMN Rise Benefits

HVMN Rise is designed to not only boost memory, but also support mood and mental well-being as well as what they call “cognitive resilience.”

Improved Memory

HVMN’s combination of bacopa monnieri and CDP choline are designed to improve memory and other aspects of cognitive function.

Mood Boost

They claim that users will also get a boost in mood primarily due to Ashwagandha, which helps to reduce stress and anxiety levels.

Cognitive Resilience

Simply put, cognitive resilience is the ability of the brain to overcome stress or other factors that would negatively impact its functioning. And HVMN Rise is supposedly able to offer these benefits through multiple clinically researched ingredients.

So, can this supplement really improve memory and more? Read on to find out!

HVMN Rise Ingredients

HVMN Rise comes in capsule form, and each serving (two capsules) contains the following ingredients

  • Bacopa Monnieri (300mg)
  • Ashwagandha (250mg)
  • CDP Choline [Citicoline] (250mg)

Bacopa Monnieri

Bacopa monnieri is an herb that has been used for thousands of years for many ailments. The main active components in it are bacosides. Bacopa monnieri is able to reduce oxidative stress on the brain and inhibit acetylcholinesterase, both of which are thought to be key mechanisms that offer neuroprotective and memory-enhancing effects. It can also improve learning and memory due to its effects on neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and acetylcholine. Other research shows Bacopa monnieri might be able to reduce depression and anxiety, possibly by increasing serotonin and GABA levels. Typical doses range from 300 to 600mg daily.

Ashwagandha

Up next is Ashwagandha, which is a powerful ayurvedic herb that has also been used for centuries. It has many roles, but the most well-researched ones are its effects on stress and anxiety. It acts as an adaptogen, which means it helps the body to control stress levels, and it is also able to significantly reduce anxiety levels. Ashwagandha also offers neuroprotective and memory-supportive benefits, which also likely stem from its ability to reduce stress on the brain. When it comes to supplementing with Ashwagandha, the most common dosages are 500 to 600mg daily.

CDP Choline

The final ingredient in HVMN rise is CDP Choline, also known as citicoline. It is a combination of cytidine and choline. Citicoline can easily cross the blood-brain barrier and exert a number of effects. Primarily, it activates the biosynthesis of brain phospholipids, including phosphatidylcholine, and it is also a precursor to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Citicoline may also increase norepinephrine and dopamine levels.

Overall, it offers neuroprotective effects and is beneficial in cases of neurological disorders as well as cognitive disorders and impairments. Research also shows that it may be able to improve learning and memory, though more research is needed. The typical therapeutic dosage used is 500 to 2000mg daily.

Does HVMN Rise Work?

HVMN Rise should offer some nootropic benefits. All of the ingredients in HVMN Rise are well-researched and proven to improve learning and memory; reduce stress and anxiety; and offer neuroprotection and cognitive resilience.

The main issue is in regard to the dosages. The dosages for Ashwagandha and citicoline are below the clinically effective doses, and even though bacopa monnieri is in the effective range, it is still on the lower end. So, the positive effects seen in research may not be as noticeable in this product since the dosages are low.

Claims vs. Reality

This leads into the next section about what to actually expect. To this end, it is likely that users will experience mild to moderate improvements in learning and memory as well as reduced stress and anxiety. However, HVMN Rise likely won’t be a miracle nootropic supplement for all your concerns.

It should also be a decent product to prevent or slow the development of neurological and cognitive disorders, but only as an adjunctive therapy considering the complexity of those issues. It is supposed to be used in the long-term, so I wouldn’t expect any powerful benefits right after taking it either.

Who is HVMN Rise Best For?

HVMN Rise is best for people who are experiencing minor declines in cognitive and overall mental performance and want to take a long-term approach towards preserving cognitive health. This product isn’t for people who are currently dealing with major cognitive or neurological disorders, but it can be worth trying as a preventive measure alongside other treatments too. Simply put, if you want to experience a slight boost in memory, reductions in stress and anxiety, and overall improved cognitive health, this product may fit the bill.
