Melatonin supplementation is known to improve many aspects of sleep quality, such as the time it takes to fall asleep, number of nighttime awakenings, and deep sleep duration. 

Most people benefit from at least 0.5mg up to 5mg or more.

Plus, it’s important to know that a poor night’s sleep can cause changes in appetite, hormone levels, mood, and stress that all increase the risk for overeating, weight gain, and metabolic disorders. 

So, Envy Nutrition Night Time Fat Burner appears to try to attack the often-intertwined problems of sleep and weight gain. 

Yet, the main issue is that this product is a proprietary blend with a far too low dose. The total weight is only 500mg, yet we know that white kidney bean extract itself is best when dosed at at least 1,000mg, so there’s no way that the dosages of each ingredient are optimal. 

With that being said, this product could still provide mild benefits for weight loss and sleep quality, but it’s not definitive. You could try increasing the dose if you don’t see benefits since the initial serving size is only one capsule. But be sure to talk with your doctor. 

Claims vs. Reality

Recall that Envy Nutrition Night Time Fat Burner is designed to increase thermogenesis and metabolism, suppress appetite, and improve your sleep. 

All in all, you might see some improvements in these areas, but nothing major. 

I like the combination of green coffee bean extract and white kidney bean extract for metabolism and thermogenesis, but we just don’t know the dosages. 

And the same can be said for the sleep-promoting ingredients. Lemon balm, passion flower, valerian, and theanine are all great and well-researched, but it’s not clear how much of these are in this product. 

Lastly, tryptophan is a very solid ingredient that addresses both sleep and appetite problems, but again, what’s the dosage?

Overall, I wouldn’t expect any major improvements in weight loss or sleep quality, but you could see some mild improvements for sure.
