Reishi Mushroom

Peppermint is a popular herb. You most likely know it for its strong and pleasant smell (maybe you’ve used it in cooking), but it also seems to have health benefits too. 

It has a few active components, especially menthol, and seems to relax the stomach and improve digestion. Plus, it can reduce symptoms of IBS such as stomach pain and bloating.

Coconut Cream

Coconut cream is made from coconut milk. It doesn’t have any major health benefits, but it is a source of healthy fats and some vitamins and minerals. 

Raw Cacao

Raw cacao is chocolate in its natural, sugar-less form. (And believe me, it tastes waaay different than what is commonly known as chocolate). 

One of the benefits of cacao is that it’s rich in polyphenols and antioxidants, which may help with inflammation, metabolism, and more.

Does Apothekary Chill The F* Out Work?

It seems likely that Chill The F* Out will work as a stress-reduction supplement. 

Of course, individual results may vary since everyone responds differently to ingredients. 

However, Chill the F* Out has a few very well-researched ingredients known for reducing stress and anxiety, while offering other benefits too. 

I don’t like that the ingredients are in a proprietary blend. But the total weight of the blend is 2g, so this may be high enough to get in all of the effective doses for each ingredient. 

I can’t be sure, but a dose of 2g is pretty solid. If they were to list their proprietary blend at, say, 300mg, then I know it wouldn’t be very effective, but this isn’t the case.

Overall, the claims made by Apothekary are generally true. Just keep in mind how much of a benefit you may get. 

Specifically, ashwagandha and reishi should both work well together to give you a mild reduction in stress and anxiety. This may also improve your sleep if you have trouble sleeping due to stress. 

Additionally, ashwagandha and reishi may provide a little cognitive boost, especially if stress gets in the way of optimal brain function for you. 

Just don’t expect Chill The F* Out to help you manage severe or debilitating stress or anxiety. 

Also, the inclusion of peppermint should help with digestive health, especially if you have an upset stomach or frequent pain. Reishi may also improve digestion due to the fiber in it. 

And lastly, with cacao in this formula, you may get a boost in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, although it’s unclear how much of the cacao is in here.
