Ghost Greens Review

With so many different superfood supplements out there today, what often separates the cream from the crop is ingredient quality, and especially ingredient dosage.

Often, you see products with paltry amounts of ingredients that otherwise would work very well if they actually had the right amount. That’s why we like to look for superfood supplements that stand apart from the rest due to their high potency and overall quality.

And one such product that just might fit those requirements is called Ghost Greens. So, let’s continue with this Ghost Greens review to learn more about it, what the ingredients are, its overall effectiveness, and whether or not it’s worth buying.

But is Ghost Greens a next-level superfood supplement? Read on to find out.

Ghost Greens Ingredients

Ghost Greens comes in powder form. Each scoop contains 10.5 grams of fruits, vegetables, and gut health ingredients. Let’s take a closer look at each of the blends.

Super Greens

The Super Greens blend in Ghost Greens contains a number of grasses, vegetables, and algae. It has kale, matcha, wheat grass, spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, oat grass, alfalfa grass, and astragalus.

We’ll go over a few key players, but keep in mind that all of the ingredients have pretty similar benefits.

Matcha is rich in phenolics, catechins, and even amino acids, and can provide antioxidant, antianxiety, and anti-stress effects.

Wheat grass and all of the other cereal grasses are rich in chlorophyll, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, zeaxanthin, and many other nutrients. They often help balance cholesterol and blood sugar, improve digestion, enhance detoxification, and benefit the immune system.

Spirulina and chlorella are two forms of algae that are rich in chlorophyll, omega fatty acids, iodine, magnesium, zinc, amino acids, antioxidants, and more. Some of the benefits of algae consumption include lower cholesterol and triglycerides, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, liver protection, heart health, and much more.

Lastly, don’t count out kale or broccoli either as these are rich in vitamin A, vitamin K, iron, indole-3-carbinol, and numerous other micronutrients. Out of their many health benefits, one of the most intriguing is their cancer-prevention effects.

No wonder mom always told you to eat your greens, hey?

Antioxidant Reds

The next blend is Antioxidant Reds, which has various fruit and juice powders from acai, pomegranate, blueberry, cranberry, jabuticaba, camu camu, aronia, noni, and goji berry.

So, it’s a mix of both common and exotic fruits, all of which share rich antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties due to the presence of phenolics, flavonoids, vitamin C, and many other nutrients.

In general, these red superfoods can protect against oxidative stress and inflammation and help ward off a number of diseases, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, some cancers, and more.

It’s nice to see the inclusion of an antioxidant reds blend, as this could save customers money on a separate product like Vital Reds or Revive Reds.

Spectra Total ORAC Blend

The next blend is the Spectra Total ORAC Blend, which consists of 29 different fruits, vegetables, and herbs to nourish the body with antioxidants and other compounds. It has been clinically researched to improve antioxidant status, scavenge free radicals, improve cellular oxygenation, and even enhance nitric oxide levels.

Inulin

Up next is inulin, which is a prebiotic fiber (they got it from chicory root, but it can come from other vegetables too). Regardless, inulin helps to enhance gut health by promoting the production of healthy bacteria and short-chain fatty acids in the digestive tract.

GHOST Probiotic

Ghost Greens also has a number of probiotics in its GHOST Probiotic blend, which contains a number of common and well-researched probiotics. Probiotics are good bacteria found naturally in the digestive tract.

And supplementing with probiotics can be a way to increase the number of healthy bacteria in your gut and therefore enhance digestion, ward off pathogens, and improve overall gut health.

BioCore Optimum Complete

The final ingredient in Ghost Greens is BioCore Optimum Complete, which is a trademarked blend of many different digestive enzymes including amylase, protease, lipase, maltase, peptidase, lactase, galactosidase, glucoamylase, and invertase.

Basically, all of these digestive enzymes help to digest the many different compounds from the foods you eat, leading to better absorption and utilization.

Amylase, maltase, glucoamylase, invertase, all are involved in the digestion of various starches and sugars from carbohydrate foods; the different proteases and peptidase in here help to digest protein; lipase helps to digest fats; and lactase helps to digest lactose.

Does Ghost Greens Work?

Ghost Greens looks like a very solid superfood supplement.

ghost greens two container

For starters, it lists all of the doses for every single ingredient, and you can tell that there are many different high-quality ingredients in here.

The doses for the Greens and Reds contain a combined total of almost 7 grams of superfood ingredients. This is a pretty good dosage and should lead to some nutritional benefits.

I also like the inclusion of Spectra, which is a well-researched antioxidant formula; and they include the exact dose used in the studies.

And Ghost Greens is rounded out by its inclusion of digestive enzymes, probiotics, and prebiotics, all of which should boost gut health and digestion. The only concern is that inulin is dosed pretty low.

But as a whole, Ghost Greens is a solid supplement and much more than just a greens drink.

Claims vs Reality

Since they don’t make any claims, there’s really nothing to try to debunk here.

But in terms of what to expect, I’d expect Ghost Greens to give you an overall boost in nutrition, which could lead to more energy and simply feeling better overall.

Plus, I’d expect Ghost Greens to enhance your gut health and improve digestion, so you may find it easier to eat different foods and overall experience fewer digestive symptoms.

Who is it Best For?

Ghost Greens is a solid superfood supplement for anyone looking to boost their nutrient intake and improve their gut health, energy levels, and overall wellness.

Safety and Side Effects

The only side effects to really worry about are mild digestive symptoms, such as gas, bloating, upset stomach, and so forth. This side effect can occur with any digestive or probiotic product and is likely to fade as your body adjusts to the daily intake.

Otherwise, there shouldn’t really be any issues, unless you have any allergies or sensitivities to any of the ingredients.

Also, Ghost Greens is vegan-friendly, soy-free, and gluten-free.

Where to Buy Ghost Greens

You can buy Ghost Greens on the Ghost Lifestyle website at this product link

There are 30 servings (30 scoops) per container, which costs $44.99 ($1.50/serving).

Overall, given the high-quality ingredients and pretty good dosages, this is a really affordable price, especially when compared to Athletic Greens which is almost twice the price.

Ghost Greens comes in original, lime, or guava berry flavors. It is designed to be mixed with 8 to 16oz of water.

Also, another interesting thing is that they partnered with One Tree Planted, so every time a container of Ghost Greens is purchased, one tree is planted.

Final Verdict

Ghost Greens is much more than a greens supplement since it contains fruits, vegetables, herbs, probiotics, prebiotics, digestive enzymes, and other superfoods. It has solid antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and overall health and wellness benefits, while also aiding gut health and energy levels. Out of the many superfood supplements out there, we think this is one of the better ones and worth buying for yourself.
