Iconic Protein Drink Benefits

Great Source Of Protein

Each bottle of Iconic Protein Drink contains 20 grams of protein from grass-fed cow’s milk. This protein source is a great option for athletes and for people looking to get more convenient and accessible protein in their day-to-day lives. This protein also contains a complete amino acid profile, including branched-chain amino acids, which are great for muscle growth and recovery after workouts.

Complete Amino Acid Profile

Each serving of Iconic Protein Drink contains a complete amino acid profile. This includes amino acids like arginine, glutamic acid, cystine, and proline. It also includes essential amino acids that we must get from dietary sources, including methionine, valine, leucine, and isoleucine. The complete amino acid profile also includes BCAAs that are instrumental in muscle growth, reduced muscle soreness, improved post-workout recovery, and muscle growth. The three branched-chain amino acids included in this drink are isoleucine, leucine, and valine. BCAAs are also great for improving endurance and overall strength during workouts, allowing you to get the most out of every gym session.

Iconic Protein Drink Ingredients

The main ingredient in Iconic Protein Drink is grass-fed milk protein isolate. This protein obviously contains dairy, so be cautious of that if you have an intolerance to lactose. This protein source is a good protein option for athletes and regular gym goers as it contains a lot of protein (20 grams of protein per serving) as well as a c complete amino acid profile. This amino acid profile includes essential amino acids and branched-chain amino acids that help improve endurance and strength, while also enhancing fitness performance and improving post-workout recovery abilities. BCAAs are also very helpful in delaying and preventing muscle fatigue and soreness and help improve muscle growth abilities as well.

This chocolate truffle flavor is also sweetened with agave, which is a good sweetener option. It’s still a sweetener, but it has less sugar per serving and is not as sweet or chemically modified as other sugars (cane sugar, tapioca syrup, high fructose corn syrup, etc.). It also contains cocoa powder, which is great as that is an all-natural form of chocolate with no added sugar.

This beverage also contains some gums and preservatives, which may cause digestive issues like bloating, constipation, and gas. It also contains both stevia and mon fruit, which are artificial sweeteners. They are not as bad as other artificial sweeteners, but continued use in large amounts may cause digestive issues and discomfort.

Is Iconic Protein Drink Really Healthy?

Iconic Protein Drink is relatively healthy, especially when compared to other protein drinks. Drink Iconic Chocolate Truffle only contains 130 calories per bottle, 3 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of fat per serving. This is much better than other protein drinks that usually contain upwards of 10-15 grams of sugar per bottle and many more calories.

It’s also quite beneficial that this beverage does not contain any highly processed sugars, and even the artificial sugars (monk fruit and stevia) are better options. This drink does contain chicory root fiber as well, which is a great healthy source of fiber, but it is pretty processed and has been known to cause digestive issues and overall discomfort.

Who Should Use Iconic Protein Drink?

This high protein drink is definitely marketed towards athletes and people who work out regularly. It does contain a lot of protein, so it makes a good protein option for people looking to increase their protein intake in a more convenient way. This drink could also be consumed by people who are not getting enough protein in their everyday lives or for people on-the-go. However, this is a dairy beverage, so if you are dairy-free or lactose intolerant, this is not the beverage for you.

Is Iconic Protein Drink Safe?

Iconic Protein Drink is generally safe for consumption; however, definitely avoid this drink if you are sensitive to dairy. Additionally, dairy proteins like this often have added hormones or are highly processed, so always be cautious of that (although this dairy is supposedly sourced from grass-fed cattle). Dairy, in general, may cause breakouts, stomach discomfort, headaches, or hormonal fluctuations.

This drink also contains artificial sugars and chicory root fiber, which may cause digestive issues if consumed in large amounts. There are not too many added sugars, though (less than 1%), so that is beneficial. The fiber source in this beverage is a little concerning as it provides 4 grams of fiber per serving. This fiber is processed and is not the same kind of fiber found in beans and other healthy foods, so be cautious of that.

Iconic Protein Drink Alternatives

Instead of consuming this beverage, you can choose to just get more protein in your diet from things like legumes, eggs, fish, chicken, and other meat. You can also consume dairy from the source if your diet and lifestyle allow for it. Additionally, there are some other great protein drinks, too, that may be healthier as they do not use dairy as the main source of protein.

One very popular beverage is by the brand Koia. These drinks contain 4 grams of sugar per bottle, about 170 calories, and 18 grams of protein. The protein comes from brown rice, hemp, and pea proteins, which are far healthier plant-based options.

Another great brand is Rebbl Drinks. This brand makes many different flavors and elixirs with adaptogens and other beneficial supplemental ingredients. These drinks contain 16 grams of plant protein per serving with herb support from ashwagandha, maca, and reishi extracts (these are very powerful adaptogens).

Looking to get your protein by mixing your own drink of choice? There are quite a few options for protein powder that are worth considering if you’d prefer to mix your own. One solid choice is Naked Whey. This protein powder contains 25 grams of protein per serving, derived from grass-fed cows. Another option worth a look at is IdealRaw Organic Protein. IdealRaw’s protein powder contains a blend of 7 organic plant-based proteins as well as superfoods. Additionally, it is vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
