Lab evidence for the value of MCT oil is lacking. That’s not to say it doesn’t work. Studies that show it doesn’t work are also lacking. As far as science goes, we just don’t know.

That being said, many people report good results from MCT oils. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence that MCT oil does work. If you are a serious cuter dieter, MCT oil is probably worth a try.
