All herbs have many different potential benefits, but I will group them based on their main benefits, both from an ancient wisdom and modern research standpoint.
Herbs for Reductions in Anxiety, Depression, and Stress
While it may not be a dedicated stress relief supplement, like Avantera Unwind or ASYSTEM Complete Calm, Hanah One does contain many different herbs that benefit psychological health via reductions in anxiety, depression, and stress. Some of the main ones that do just that are ashwagandha, Gotu kola, Shatavari, turmeric, Tribulus Terrestris, butterfly pea, licorice, and sarivan. Within this, ashwagandha and Gotu kola are probably the most beneficial for overall reductions in anxiety and depression and for mood enhancement.
A lot of these herbs decrease cortisol, which is the primary stress hormone. They also are proven to revitalize the nerves and nervous system and decrease neuroinflammation. On top of this, they may increase levels of some neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, dopamine, and acetylcholine. Most of these can also improve overall cognitive function, such as memory and alertness, again due to the way they act on the central nervous system, neurotransmitters, and key brain regions.
Herbs for Sexual Health and Vitality
There are also a few herbs in Hanah One that are well-researched for enhancing various aspects of sexual function and vitality. These include ashwagandha, Tribulus Terrestris, Shatavari, and cobras saffron. Improved libido, sexual function, stress reduction, and increased vitality are just a few of the benefits you can expect from these herbs. Tribulus Terrestris and ashwagandha are well-known for increasing testosterone levels in men, and Shatavari is well-known for enhancing female sexual health in particular.
Additionally, ashwagandha and Tribulus Terrestris are known to increase stamina, energy, and endurance levels.
Digestion-Enhancing Herbs
There are a number of herbs in Hanah One that provide digestive benefits too. Some of the main ones include mung bean, cinnamon, bael, Shatavari, oroxylum, long pepper, chebulus myrobalan, castor, arni, and cyperus. There are a wide variety of effects that these herbs have, such as eliminating or reducing irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, diarrhea, constipation, and just general GI discomfort. All herbs help to enhance digestion because they contain various compounds that help to digest and assimilate the foods you consume, and these herbs are particularly good at doing that.
Herbs for Cardiometabolic Health
Hanah One also contains many herbs known for their benefits on various aspects of cardiometabolic health. The main herbs involved in cardiometabolic health include cinnamon, mung bean, ivy gourd, yellow nutsedge, chebulic myrobalan, sarivan, desmostachya, Malay bush beech, policosanol, cyperus, bael, and punanrnava.
These herbs work because they do one or more of the following: decrease blood pressure; improve blood flow; lower cholesterol/LDL; improve insulin sensitivity; optimize glucose regulation; reduce blood lipids; reduce triglycerides; increase lipolysis; increase metabolism; and perhaps much more!
The bottom line is that there are many herbs in Hanah One for improving cardiovascular and metabolic health and overall decreasing the risk of metabolic syndrome.
Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Herbs
Next up are herbs that are proven to reduce inflammation and/or act as potent antioxidants. By far the most well-known herb in Hanah One for reducing inflammation is turmeric, but there are many other herbs and substances that do this too. Some of these include oroxylum, holostemma, arrowleaf sida, arni, yellow-berried nightshade, chebulic myrobalan, aerva lanata, cyperus, Malay bush beech, long pepper, and sesame oil.
Like most herbs, all of these contain an abundance of polyphenols, and you’ll notice that most of these in this category are brightly colored, which means they have a high concentration of antioxidants and other healthy compounds. They typically work by limiting the production of cytokines, which are inflammatory molecules. Furthermore, these herbs act on the body to rid it of free radicals and oxidative damage and promote healing on all levels.
Immune-Strengthening and Detoxifying Herbs
Finally, Hanah One has a number of herbs and other substances that are involved in strengthening the immune system and/or in detoxification. These herbs and substances include Shatavari, oroxylum, Amalaki, mung bean, green cardamom, licorice, honey, cobras saffron, long pepper, sugar cane, policosanol, arni, yellow-berried nightshade, aerva lanata, and cyperus.
Now, there are a number of ways that these benefits occur, and it depends on the specific herb or substance. Some of these herbs act as liver enhancers, and this is key since the liver is the vital detoxification organ. Other benefits that are seen include antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, and antiviral effects. In another way, some of these herbs aid in mucus production and help to clear out infections. The bottom line is that all of these are beneficial for immune health, detoxification, and illness prevention or mitigation.
Does Hanah One Work?
Hanah One is most likely going to work for a wide variety of people. With its combination of 30 herbs, including powerhouses such as ashwagandha, turmeric, licorice, Gotu kola, and Shatavari; and 4 other healthy substances (honey, sesame oil, sugarcane, ghee), Hanah One provides a boatload of nutrition to anyone looking for health and energy enhancement. All of the herbs are research-backed and proven to offer a wide array of benefits.
The only downside to this product is that it doesn’t list the specific dosages of the ingredients. Therefore, it is unclear exactly how much of each ingredient is in Hanah One, which may limit its potential effectiveness. Nonetheless, since it includes so many different herbs, it is likely that synergistic effects will occur. And this, combined with the fact that the herbs benefit so many different areas of the body, likely overcomes any potential lack of effectiveness attributed to a suboptimal dose of any of the ingredients by themselves. In short, there are enough beneficial ingredients in here such that the exact dose of each individual ingredient isn’t really too much of a concern.
Claims vs. Reality
If you recall, Hanah One is supposed to increase energy and stamina, improve focus and mental clarity, strengthen the immune system, and improve digestion. And after analyzing all of the herbs and other substances in this product, it is highly likely that these effects will happen…and then some!
Herbs such as ashwagandha, Tribulus Terrestris, and Shatavari will improve energy, endurance, and stamina.
And you can expect improvements in focus and mental clarity thanks to ashwagandha, butterfly pea, Gotu kola, and more. And most of these herbs offer benefits not even listed by Hanah One, such as reductions in stress, anxiety, and depression.
Furthermore, there are many herbs in here that not only enhance immune system health, but also act as potent detoxifiers, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories. Turmeric, honey, arrowleaf sida, yellow-berried nightshade, cobras saffron, and mung bean are just a few of the many herbs that do one or more of these things.
Additionally, you can expect improved digestive health due to the inclusion of cinnamon, long pepper, mung bean, and bael, among others.
Finally, you may see reductions in cardiometabolic risk factors, such as insulin, glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides, thanks to cinnamon, yellow nutsedge, policosanol, chubulic myrobalan, and many others.
The bottom line is that every ingredient in Hanah One has at least some research and/or ancient wisdom behind it backing up the benefits. In most, cases, the herbs have a tremendous amount of both ancient and modern support, so it is truly a high-quality product.
Who is Hanah One Best for?
Due to its wide-ranging effects, this product can be for anyone looking to enhance their overall health and wellness. If there are certain groups of people that are the most likely to benefit from it, it’d probably be anyone with any one or more of the following symptoms: chronic fatigue, chronic stress/HPA-axis dysfunction, gut dysfunction, poor immunity, low libido, and inflammation. Some of these symptoms can overlap as well.
So, Hanah One can be used by anyone looking to optimize their pre-existing good levels of health or, perhaps more importantly, help anyone suffering from common ailments to get back to normal health. Just be sure not to use Hanah One as a cure-all. Even though it may seem like it, you’ll still have to practice an all-around healthy lifestyle to benefit the most from it.
Is Hanah One Safe?
Since there are so many ingredients, side effects will not be listed one by one. But given that Hanah One affects many areas of the body, here are some side effects to look out for:
- Changes in blood sugar and insulin
- Changes in blood pressure
- Gastrointestinal effects (nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach, etc.)
- Headache
- Nervousness, anxiety, irritability, insomnia (due to some of the stimulants)
Keep in mind that these side effects aren’t that common, and I wouldn’t expect the severity of any of these to be very high. But everyone reacts differently, so keep in mind how sensitive you are as an individual to supplements in general.
