Nothing surprising here—we expect every manufacturer to promote their products with such statements. However, as previously noted, Pre JYM contains no proprietary blends, undergoes third-party testing and certification, features a completely transparent label, identifies all thirteen active ingredients with listed dosages, includes four patented and trademarked ingredients at clinically tested amounts, and offers no abbreviated formulas or concentrates. 

Pre JYM comes in several flavors on the company website, including Grape Candy, Pineapple Strawberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Black Cherry, and Tangerine. We’ve sampled several flavors—all are tolerable and taste excellent for a pre-workout product.

Energy Component

Caffeine (300 mg) is the sole stimulant in Pre JYM. However, caffeine also provides proven performance benefits—it increases muscle strength and endurance while blunting muscle pain during workouts, allowing longer, more intense training sessions. The product also includes the amino acid L-Tyrosine (1,500 mg).

When caffeine and L-Tyrosine combine with the mental focus components Huperzine and Alpha GPC, the result is clean, steady, prolonged energy without jitters or crashes.

Muscle Building Components

Pre JYM contains each of our primary strength ingredients at nearly the exact dosages cited above. Coincidence? Absolutely not. Ingredients are dosed at amounts proven effective in clinical trials. The one exception is creatine. Pre JYM uses Creatine HCL (Hydrochloride—as popularized by Con-Cret brand). Due to superior absorption, HCL requires 2 grams per serving versus 3+ grams for creatine monohydrate. 

  • Creatine HCL – 2 grams

  • BCAAs – 6 grams (in the correct 2:1:1 ratio)

Pre JYM Dosage

The prescribed dosage is one level scoop (approximately 26 grams), delivering 70 calories and 2 grams of carbs, with 1 gram from added sugars. When first using Pre JYM, the company suggests taking one-half scoop to assess your response and gradually increase until one full scoop is well tolerated. The company recommends taking the product 30–45 minutes before your workout. No more than one serving per day is recommended, and to prevent sleep issues, avoid taking within six hours of bedtime.

Those practicing intermittent fasting should note that taking Pre JYM will break your fast; however, the product should remain within range to maintain ketosis.

Our opinion is that this formulation meets or exceeds expectations. You’ll feel the energy boost, experience enhanced mental focus, see strength and endurance increases with continued use, and notice improved muscle pumps and vascularity. Customer reviews on the website and other eCommerce platforms echo this assessment.

Is Pre JYM Safe?

Some individuals may experience side effects with any pre-workout product containing caffeine, creatine, and vasodilators. 

Creatine draws more water into muscle; however, creatine monohydrate may also cause water retention under the skin, resulting in a “puffy” appearance. Additionally, some users of monohydrates report stomach issues. The Creatine HCL in Pre JYM minimizes or eliminates these problems.

Caffeine may cause jitters. The amount in Pre JYM roughly equals two to three cups of coffee. Experts agree that 200–300 mg of caffeine daily represents a moderate amount for adults. To prevent sleep issues, avoid taking within six hours of bedtime. 

Beta-Alanine can cause an unpleasant tingling sensation in some people. 

Given these potential issues, the company recommends starting with half a serving to determine your tolerance.
