About Gorilla Mode Nitric

Gorilla Mode Nitric is a stim-free pre-workout created by Gorilla Mind, which is a popular supplement company with big names like:

The stimulant-free formula in Gorilla Mode Nitric contains many notable pre-workout compounds, such as citrulline, creatine, betaine, and Nitrosigine. Plus, all ingredients are said to be, as they put it, “maxed out from all angles”.

In turn, this combination of powerful ingredients and high doses is designed to maximize muscle pumps, improve strength, and ultimately give you a killer workout experience, all without caffeine or other stims.

Gorilla Mode Nitric Benefits

Gorilla Mode Nitric is advertised to deliver most of the main workout benefits people are after, including:

  • Enhanced Nitric Oxide Production
  • Increased Muscle Cell Hydration
  • Maximized Pumps
  • Greater Strength & Power
  • Elevated Endurance
Gorilla Mode Nitric Benefits

Enhanced Nitric Oxide Production

Gorilla Mode Nitric claims to enhance nitric oxide production through a few ways, ultimately leading to increased vasodilation (blood vessel dilation) and blood flow.

For example, their formula uses high dosages of citrulline, Nitrosigine, and other ingredients designed to boost arginine and nitric oxide levels. Not to mention the inclusion of specific nitrates for a further boost in nitric oxide levels.

Increased Muscle Cell Hydration

Gorilla Mode Nitric is also advertised to enhance muscle cell hydration with ingredients such as betaine, glycerol, and creatine monohydrate. This increase in hydration may enhance muscle endurance and give your muscles a fuller, harder look.

Maximized Pumps

Owing mainly to the above two benefits, Gorilla Mode Nitric also claims to maximize muscle pumps. Specifically, the combination of enhanced nitric oxide and increased muscle cell hydration is designed to lead to the ultimate pump experience.

This may also improve performance and decrease fatigue too, so it’s not just for show!

Greater Strength & Power

Gorilla Mode Nitric also claims to promote greater strength and power. This is in part due to creatine monohydrate which may increase high-intensity strength capacity.

But other ingredients such as betaine and malic acid may increase strength and power too due to their general ability to enhance muscular energy production.

Elevated Endurance

Lastly, Gorilla Mode Nitric is promoted to elevate endurance, particularly muscular endurance. With ingredients like citrulline, betaine, and glycerol, Nitric is formulated to provide the perfect environment for muscle endurance while decreasing metabolic byproduct build-up and slashing fatigue.

Ultimately, this may help you workout harder, for longer, completing more sets and dominating your workouts.

But is Gorilla Mode Nitric as powerful as advertised?

Keep reading to see for sure!

Gorilla Mode Nitric Ingredients

Gorilla Mode Nitric Pre-Workout has a nice variety of ingredients, many of which we noticed are at high dosages.

Below are all the ingredients in Gorilla Mode Nitric:

  • L-Citrulline
  • Creatine Monohydrate
  • Betaine Anhydrous
  • GlycerPump
  • Malic Acid
  • Agmatine Sulfate
  • Sodium Nitrate
  • VasoDrive-AP
Gorilla Mode Nitric Supplement Facts

The doses listed below are based on the serving size of one scoop.

L-Citrulline (5,000mg)

L-citrulline is an amino acid. It can increase arginine and nitric oxide levels in the body, which leads to blood vessel dilation and enhanced blood flow.

This can lead to better muscle pumps. And citrulline has also been shown to increase strength, boost muscular endurance, and improve recovery. So it’s no wonder it’s a mainstay pre-workout ingredient, found in other supps too like Ghost Pump.

Not to mention Gorilla Mode Nitric has a very high dose at 5,000mg per scoop.

Creatine Monohydrate (2,500mg)

Creatine monohydrate is another pre-workout staple, mainly for its roles in boosting strength and power

Basically, creatine can enhance muscular energy production and decrease muscle fatigue during high-intensity stuff like sprints and heavy lifting, which essentially increases your ability to be a beast ;).

The dose of 2,500mg is pretty good, but some may need a bit higher for best results.

Betaine Anhydrous (2,000mg)

Betaine anhydrous is also a pretty solid pre-workout compound. One of the things it does is enhance muscle cell hydration, which can give you bigger pumps and also decrease fatigue or prevent dehydration during training.

Betaine also has various effects on protein synthesis, creatine synthesis, and certain hormones involved in muscle-building and fat loss, so it may provide general broad effects too. But the main benefit seems to be for pumps and strength.

GlycerPump (2,000mg)

GlycerPump is a trademarked form of glycerol powder, which is a hyperhydrating agent. Specifically, glycerol can cause fluid retention, which may give the muscles more water and nutrients during exercise, leading to bigger pumps and boosted endurance.

Because the more nutrients available to your muscles, the easier it is for them to keep up with intense training.

This specific form of glycerol is found in many other pump-based pre-workouts too, such as Pump Serum

Malic Acid (1,500mg)

Malic acid is an organic acid that plays crucial roles in energy metabolism. It helps to create ATP, which can lead to increased energy levels and reduced fatigue.

Many pre-workouts combine citrulline and malic acid to form citrulline malate, but what’s interesting is that Gorilla Mode Nitric includes each one separately, likely to put higher dosages for both.

Agmatine Sulfate (750mg)

Agmatine sulfate is a common supplemental form of agmatine, which is a metabolite of arginine. As a result, agmatine plays a role in nitric oxide synthesis, which could improve blood flow and pumps.

However, there isn’t as much research on agmatine compared to other nitric oxide boosters such as citrulline. But it definitely has the potential to add extra benefits for pumps, endurance, etc.

Nitrosigine (750mg)

Nitrosigine is a trademarked form of inositol-stabilized arginine silicate. So for simplicity, just think of it as an arginine-based compound.

When ingested, this can lead to increased levels of arginine and nitric oxide, leading to enhanced blood flow. Research has shown that the specific form of Nitrosigine can boost energy, increase muscle pumps, and even enhance post-workout recovery.

Not too bad of a trifecta for lifters! In fact, many other supplements take advantage of this compound too, such as Pride Pre-Workout.

Of course, the dose is half of what was used for maximal benefits, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t provide at least decent effects.

Sodium Nitrate (750mg)

Sodium nitrate is yet another nitric oxide booster due to its high nitrate content. This can increase blood flow and oxygen to the muscle. So, it may also contribute to muscle pumps, strength, and endurance, just like some of the main players already mentioned.

The dosage of 750mg also falls right in the middle of effective researched ranges.

VasoDrive-AP (127mg)

The last ingredient in Gorilla Mode Nitric is VasoDrive-AP (also known as AmealPeptide), which is a trademarked form of hydrolyzed casein peptides.

Research has shown that VasoDrive-AP can act as an ACE-inhibitor, which reduces blood pressure and enhances blood vessel dilation.

Related to exercise then, it can also boost muscle pumps, decrease fatigue, and improve recovery after exercise.

Does Gorilla Mode Nitric Work?

It is very likely that Gorilla Mode Nitric will be an effective non-stim pre-workout. In fact, it seems to be one of the best ones out there.

Gorilla Mode Nitric is filled with many evidence-based pre-workout ingredients such as citrulline, betaine, creatine, GlycerPump, and Nitrosigine. And pretty much all of these have good dosages, or at the very least, decent dosages.

And that’s the analysis for one scoop. If you do two scoops, which is recommended in some cases, then Gorilla Mode Nitric is literally maxed out for pretty much every ingredient.

Overall, Gorilla Mode Nitric definitely seems likely to increase blood flow and pumps, boost hydration, and enhance strength, power, and endurance. There are even benefits for recovery too.

How Does Gorilla Mode Nitric Compare?

Gorilla Mode Nitric is easily one of the top stim-free pre-workouts out there. It’s especially beneficial for enhancing nitric oxide, blood flow, and muscle pumps.

In fact, it’s why we included it in our list of the best pre-workouts for pumps

But the formula overall is great too, with a lot of research-backed ingredients and high dosages, which we can see from their fully transparent label.

Chemix King of Pumps

One of the stim-free pre-workouts that goes toe to toe with Gorilla Mode Nitric is Chemix King of Pumps. Chemix King of Pumps is loaded with high dosages of many of the same ingredients as Gorilla Mode Nitric, including citrulline, betaine, GlycerPump, and VasoDrive-AP.

Overall, Gorilla Mode Nitric seems to be better value for the money though, as you get 40 servings for $59.99 whereas Chemix King of Pumps is $49.99 for 20 servings. Gorilla Mode Nitric also has creatine and other ingredients not in King of Pumps. But on a per-scoop basis, King of Pumps is actually higher-dosed, so you really can’t go wrong either way.

Ryse Godzilla Pre-Workout

Another pre-workout worth comparing to Gorilla Mode Nitric is Ryse Godzilla Pre-Workout. The main difference in Ryse Godzilla is that it has caffeine and some other stimulants. This pre-workout also has many other pre-workout boosters such as citrulline, beta-alanine, and betaine.

So, Ryse Godzilla Pre-Workout is really one of the best all-around pre-workouts for energy, strength, endurance, and pumps. In fact, it has an edge over Gorilla Mode Nitric for total workout performance. But again, it has caffeine and stimulants, so it’s not for everyone in that regard.

Who is Gorilla Mode Nitric Best For?

Gorilla Mode Nitric is best for lifters, bodybuilders, and athletes looking for a high-dosed, non-stim pre-workout to enhance muscle pumps, endurance, strength, and all-around workout performance.

It’s particularly geared for those looking to maximize nitric oxide levels and blood flow, and the resulting benefits of that.

Pros

  • Several research-backed ingredients
  • High dosages (most at or near optimal)
  • Stim-free
  • Third-party tested
  • Fully transparent label
  • Many flavors

Cons

  • Can get pricey if taking two scoops
  • Doesn’t have beta-alanine
  • Some people may want caffeine or other stimulants

How to Take Gorilla Mode Nitric

Gorilla Mode Nitric comes in powdered form. The serving size is one scoop, although they say you can take two scoops for a “maxed-out” dose. Mix with 14 to 16oz of water depending on taste preferences.

You can start with just one-half scoop to assess your tolerance. And don’t exceed two scoops in any 24-hour period.

How to Take Gorilla Mode Nitric

  • Headache
  • Dizziness

Gorilla Mode Nitric is made in a cGMP, FDA-registred facility. It is also third-party tested, and Gorilla Mind shows the testing results for all ingredients, including the purity, potency, identity, and composition. This is cool to see since not many companies offer that.

Gorilla Mode Nitric is also stimulant-free and is free of most major allergens. However, it does contain milk (from VasoDrive-AP).
