There are a lot of people looking for non-stimulant pre-workouts these days. Some people want this option because they are very sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants.

And others want a good caffeine-free option when they have to work out later in the day without disrupting sleep.

Whatever the case, there are a number of non-stim pre-workouts out there that may fit your needs. And one that claims to be top of the line is Huge Supplements Pump Serum.

Continue to read this Pump Serum review to learn about the main features, different ingredients, possible benefits, and if it’s really worth buying!

About Huge Supplements

Pump Serum Non-Stim Pre-Workout is made by Huge Supplements, which is a very large and well-known supplement company.

Huge Supplements is dedicated to bringing the highest-quality, most well-researched products to enhance performance for athletes, bodybuilders, and other fitness enthusiasts. They have a number of popular products, such as Wrecked Pre-Workout, Huge Whey, Sapogenix, Wrecked Enraged, Rebirth PCT, Exterminate, Ecdysterone, and Defend Organ Support.

What is Pump Serum?

Pump Serum is advertised as a highly powerful non-stim pre-workout. The Pump Serum formula contains 13 potent ingredients, such as citrulline, betaine, tyrosine, and beetroot extract.

All of these ingredients are supposedly fully dosed at clinical levels to bring you next-level workout intensity, all without the jitters or crash afterward.

Huge Supplements states that Pump Serum will optimize pumps, muscle fullness, training capacity, and focus, giving you a surge in both physical and mental performance.

Pump Serum Benefits

With 13 well-formulated ingredients, Pump Serum is advertised to bring about many different benefits for lifters, including:

  • Increased Pumps and Muscle Fullness
  • Enhanced Training Capacity
  • Increased Focus
  • No Jitters, Anxiety, or Crash

Increased Pumps and Muscle Fullness

While a pump isn’t necessary for progress, it can feel really good to get the blood flowing to your muscles. And maybe you’re frustrated by days when you seem to lift hard, but your muscles still look flat as if you didn’t work them at all.

One of the main advertised benefits of Huge Supplements Pump Serum is an increase in muscle pumps and fullness.

They have many ingredients to do the job here, such as citrulline, beetroot extract, and GlycerPump™, which may work together to increase blood flow and muscle cell hydration.

And this could give you that swollen, dense look, while also improving performance and recovery.

Enhanced Training Capacity

One of the most bothersome feelings is getting too tired to complete all of your sets or reps prescribed for your workout. You want to go harder and push further, but fatigue can derail those efforts.

Well, Pump Serum claims to increase your training capacity so you can workout harder for longer. They include popular ingredients such as betaine and citrulline that may help your body push through fatigue and increase your muscular endurance like never before.

And this could eventually lead to more weight being lifted and more reps done over time, leading to the progress you want to see.

Increased Focus

You’re supposed to be completely dialed in at the gym for the best workout possible. But I know that there are many distractions, whether that’s work stuff on your mind or simply that damn phone you hold way too often (put it down!).

Pump Serum is advertised to be an antidote to those distractions and help you get zoned in for your lift. The formula includes choline and Huperzine A to increase focus and mental sharpness to ensure that you stay on track from your first warm-up set to the last work set.

No Jitters, Anxiety, or Crash

Let’s face it: caffeine and other stimulants simply aren’t taken well by some people. They can cause anxiety, jitters, an eventual crash, or trouble sleeping if taken too close to bed.

Well, Huge Supplements Pump Serum claims to be the perfect workout formula for stim-sensitive lifters or for people who work out in the evening. The formula contains many ingredients but zero stimulants, which reduces the chance of bothersome side effects.

Is Pump Serum Legit?

Pump Serum Stim-Free Pre-Workout definitely seems legit. Huge Supplements is a very well-known and trusted brand with high-quality products. And the Pump Serum formula contains well-researched ingredients known to have benefits.

But will Pump Serum actually improve your workout performance? Read on to find out!

Pump Serum Supplement Facts

Choline Bitartrate

Choline bitartrate is a form of choline, which is an essential nutrient. It can increase acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter involved in focus and cognition, as well as muscular contractions.

But there isn’t any great evidence showing the benefits of choline for workout performance.

Himalayan Pink Salt

Himalayan pink salt is a natural form of salt, which contains sodium and trace amounts of other minerals. Sodium may be useful during high-intensity, prolonged exercise because it is lost in the sweat. It can help maintain muscular contractions and reduce the risk of fatigue or headaches in some cases.

L-Citrulline

L-citrulline is an amino acid that can increase arginine and nitric oxide levels. This widens the blood vessels and can improve blood flow to the muscles.

There is evidence that citrulline supplementation can reduce fatigue, improve muscular endurance, and enhance power. Plus, it may also give you a recovery boost.

Nowadays, it is rare to see a pre-workout that doesn’t have citrulline in it. And it’s in many non-stim pre-workouts too, such as Cutler Nutrition Amplify

Betaine Anhydrous

Betaine anhydrous is one of the most common supplemental forms of betaine (also called trimethylglycine). One of the main effects of betaine is increasing muscle cell hydration. And it also seems to decrease lactate build-up (a marker of physical stress).

Research shows betaine is particularly helpful for muscular endurance when engaging in high-volume training, but it may not benefit maximal strength or power.

GlycerPump

GlycerPump is a trademarked form of glycerol powder. And glycerol is a naturally occurring substance that can increase water retention and cellular hydration.

This can improve muscle fullness and also may benefit endurance exercise, especially when taken with liquids.

Beetroot Extract

Beetroot extract contains a number of healthy compounds. But the most notable one for exercise is nitrate. Nitrates can increase nitric oxide levels and enhance blood flow to the muscles, which could increase performance.

Evidence suggests that beetroot extract is especially useful for increasing endurance and reducing fatigue, but it may also help with muscular endurance too.

Looking for a beetroot product specifically? HumanN SuperBeets may be a good choice.

L-Tyrosine

L-tyrosine is an amino acid that helps to create dopamine and noradrenaline, which are neurotransmitters involved in mood, alertness, energy, and motivation, among other things.

Dopamine and noradrenaline can get depleted during intense stress. But tyrosine supplementation seems to restore these brain chemicals. And it may help increase performance during stressful tasks, which could include heavy lifting. But it’s not definitive yet.

Nitrosigine

Nitrosigine is a trademarked form of inositol arginine silicate. So it’s essentially an arginine compound.

This compound increases arginine and nitric oxide, which can increase blood flow. And there is evidence that NItrosigine can improve endurance, muscle pumps, and even cognition.

Agmatine Sulfate

Agmatine sulfate is an agmatine-based compound. And agmatine is a derivative of arginine, which may influence brain function. But there aren’t any proven benefits of this compound for exercise.

Pomegranate Extract

Pomegranate is rich in a number of healthy compounds, such as ellagic acid. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects that may be beneficial during and after exercise.

It also seems to improve blood flow to the muscles and the rest of the body. Overall, pomegranate extract supplementation seems to increase endurance and strength, and it also improves post-workout recovery.

VasoDrive-AP

VasoDrive-AP is a trademarked form of casein hydrolysate, which contains tripeptides that may widen the blood vessels. This has been shown to increase blood flow and reduce blood pressure. But it’s not clear if it really improves performance or boosts muscle pumps.

Huperzine A

Huperzine A is derived from Huperzia serrata extract. This compound can increase acetylcholine levels in the brain, and it seems to improve cognitive performance in people with brain degeneration.

But it doesn’t seem very useful for improving focus or cognition during exercise in healthy people.

BioPerine

The final ingredient in Pump Serum is BioPerine, which is a trademarked form of black pepper extract. This contains a concentrated source of piperine, which can increase the absorbability of the other ingredients, possibly leading to greater effects.

Dosage Analysis for Key Ingredients

I also wanted to briefly show you how the Pump Serum dosages compare to the research-based dosages. I will just go over five key ingredients: citrulline, betaine, tyrosine, Nitrosigine, and GlycerPump.

IngredientPump Serum DosageEvidence-Based Dosage
Citrulline8,000mgAt least 4,000mg
Betaine3,000mg2,000 to 3,000mg

Nitrosigine1,500mg1,500mg
GlycerPump3,000mg6,000 to 12,000mg

Does Pump Serum Work?

It definitely seems that Pump Serum should work as a non-stim pre-workout. The majority of the ingredients are evidence-based and proven to increase muscle endurance, strength, pumps, and overall performance.

Plus, many of the ingredients are dosed properly, including four of the five main ones listed above.

Claims vs. Reality

It’s very likely that Pump Serum will increase muscle pumps and fullness, reduce fatigue, improve endurance, and increase strength and power.

However, Huge Supplements Pump Serum likely won’t give you a whopping increase in any of these. You might be able to get one or two more reps for an exercise. Or you might be able to work out for a few minutes longer before getting tired. Or you might see a little more definition and vascularity after your workout.

These are all great things, of course. Just don’t expect to turn into Superman after taking this.

Who is Pump Serum Best For?

Pump Serum is best for anyone who wants a well-dosed, evidence-based, non-stim pre-workout. It is ideal for people who are sensitive to stimulants as well as for gym-goers who work out later in the day but don’t want to disrupt their sleep.

How to Take Pump Serum

Pump Serum Stim-Free Pre-Workout is a powder. And you are supposed to take one scoop and mix it with 8 to 12oz of water.

While they don’t state it specifically, it’s best to take pre-workouts around 30 minutes before working out.

Is Pump Serum Safe?

Pump Serum doesn’t have as many side effects compared to other pre-workouts because it’s stim-free.

However, it may cause changes in blood pressure, which could be concerning if you already have low blood pressure. Other possible side effects are:

  • Nausea, bloating, vomiting, and other digestive symptoms
  • Headache
  • Muscle twitching or cramping
  • Other changes in heart rate or blood pressure
  • Sweating
  • Restlessness

Huge Supplements Pump Serum is made in the USA in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility.

It includes some ingredients that some people may not want, such as sucralose and artificial flavors.

Where to Buy Pump Serum

You can buy Pump Serum on the Huge Supplements website at this link.

pump serum website

Pump Serum comes in four unique, tropical-vibe flavors:

  • Jungle Juice
  • Strawberry Mojito
  • Cherry Berry
  • Island Dream

You get 25 servings (25 scoops) per container. It’s definitely priced on the higher side at $54.95, which is $2.20/serving.

Granted, the doses of the key ingredients are high, so this price seems justified. And you can always see if half of a dose gives you enough benefits before trying the full scoop.

If you’re unsatisfied, you can return any unused, unopened containers back to Huge Supplements within 14 days of your purchase for a refund. Obviously, you won’t be eligible if you only buy one container since you have to return the unused ones.

Verdict: Pump Serum Review

That’s the end of my Pump Serum review.

Huge Supplements Pump Serum is seriously one of the best non-stim pre-workouts out there. It contains high doses of many effective ingredients, such as citrulline, betaine, Nitrosigine®, and tyrosine. Not to mention other good ingredients, including beetroot and pomegranate.

Overall, Pump Serum seems beneficial for muscle pumps, exercise capacity, concentration, and workout performance overall. And you won’t be bouncing off the walls after taking it!

Altogether, I recommend Pump Serum to anyone looking for a well-formulated stim-free pre-workout.
