About Find My Formula

The most interesting thing about Find My Formula right off the bat is that it’s not one specific supplement. Rather, Find My Formula uses personalized questionnaires based on their “Find my Formula” section in order to help generate supplement packages that best fit your specific needs.

formula personalized supplement

Find My Formula is based on the idea that everyone’s brain chemistry is unique. Thus, supplements affect everyone differently, which is why they create personalized formulas. In fact, there are over 127 ingredients that they utilize, which results in 75, 582 unique combinations. So, it clearly is an individualized approach.

With that being said, all of the Find My Formula ingredients consist of some combination of their main ingredients, which will be listed later. What differentiates the exact formula on a person by person basis is the exact combination of the main ingredients, as well as what additional ingredients are added in.

This unique process definitely makes Find My Formula stand out from other nootropic supplements, and there are many potential benefits, although they’re not definitive.

Find My Formula Benefits

The benefits you’ll get from Find My Formula depend on which blend you are recommended. But, in general, the ingredients in Find My Formula are designed to do one or more of the following:

  • Reduce fatigue and increase energy
  • Improve mood/well-being and increase confidence
  • Improve focus, creativity, innovation, and overall cognition
  • Improve memory
  • Decrease anxiety, depression, and stress
Find My Formula For Improved Mood

All of these benefits stem from the different ingredients commonly used in their formulas, which include primarily: racetams, peptides, choline sources, vitamins, amino acids, and various plant-based adaptogens and herbal extracts.

So, will Find My Formula be able to deliver a nootropic-based formula for your specific needs and goals? Continue reading to find out more!

Racetams and Peptides

All of the racetams listed below are derivatives of piracetam, and they exist in more potent forms. The racetams appear to exert various effects on glutamate receptors, such as NMDA and AMPA receptors, basically by increasing their activity, which causes greater calcium influx and overall higher neuroexcitation. And they also have effects on cholingergic receptors and acetylcholine.

In general, the effects in the glutamatergic and acetylcholinergic systems, as well as increasing overall nervous system excitation and synaptic transmission, are thought to explain the benefits of racetams of cognition and overall brain health, although it really still is unclear exactly how they work. Some of the main neurotransmitters thought to be affected include primarily acetylcholine and glutamate, and possibly serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine.

Most of the human research shows that the various racetams and peptides are useful in clinical cases. For example, the racetams are likely most beneficial for learning and memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s and general cognitive impairment; they can help improve cognitive function for people who have experienced traumatic brain injuries, including head trauma and stroke; and they are useful for preventing age-related declines in cognitive function. Additionally, some research shows that racetams and peptides may alleviate anxiety and depression and promote better mood, but a lot of this is based on rodent studies.

Whether or not these compounds are as effective as nootropics as they are in clinical cases remains to be determined.

Choline Sources

Up next are a number of different choline sources, including Alpha GPC, centrophenoxine, and citicoline.

Alpha GPC

Alpha GPC is a precursor to choline and is known to increase the release of acetylcholine, which in turn enhances learning, memory, and possibly focus.

Centrophenoxine

Some research shows that centrophenoxine can increase acetylcholine production in the brain and it may also boost cerebral blood flow. These effects are ultimately what may improve cognition, but more research is needed.

Citicoline

Citicoline supplementation can increase endogenous levels of CDP-choline, which in turn can increase phospholipids and acetylcholine in the central nervous system. Citocoline also increases neurotransmitter production (e.g. serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine) and increases neuroplasticity. Some of the specific benefits include improved learning and memory; prevention against cognitive decline; and restoration of cognitive function in people with brain injuries and disorders.

MCT Oil

MCT oil has a variety of benefits. In regard to cognitive health, some research shows that MCT oil can induce mild ketosis, which helps the brain run on ketones rather than glucose for energy. And ketosis may overall improve cognitive function and reduce cognitive impairment, but more research is needed.

Sulbutiamine

Sulbutiamine is a synthetic form of thiamine (vitamin B1). And thiamine has a number of roles in the CNS, so it’s logical that getting in more would benefit the brain. There are a variety of potential benefits from this supplement, such as reduced fatigue, antioxidant effects, improved memory, reduced depression, and modulation of glutamine and dopamine, among other things. But ultimately, more research is needed.

Vinpocetine

Vinpocetine has been used on a clinical level to help treat dementia, stroke, and other cerebrovascular disorders. It appears to offer potent antioxidant effects, and it also helps to increase blood flow to the brain and increase glucose and oxygen utilization in the brain. Lastly, it may protect against neuronal damage and increase acetylcholine production, the latter of which is why it’s likely used as a nootropic.

Adaptogens

Finally, the formulas recommended usually include at least one adaptogen, such as ashwagandha or rhodiola. Adaptogens are herbal substances that help the body to more easily handle stressors. Instead of getting overwhelmed by stress, adaptogens can blunt the stress response and promote higher resistance to stress. Various research shows that adaptogens can reduce fatigue, anxiety, depression, and stress; protect the brain; increase energy; and improve mental capacity.

Does Find My Formula Work?

Overall, it is likely that Find My Formula will offer a variety of nootropic benefits. Even though most of the research has been done in clinical patients and not for cognitive enhancement per se, the ingredients have a strong basis for enhancing various aspects of cognition. Unlike other nootropic options, such as Four Sigmatic Focus and Mind Lab Pro, that only offer a one-size-fits-all supplement, Find My Formula gives you a specific formula based on your individual needs which increases the likelihood that you will experience benefits.

The overall research is humans isn’t to the extent that it needs to be to make definitive claims, but between the research that is there as well as anecdotal evidence, the ingredients may be worth considering for some people

Claims vs. Reality

Find My Formula is designed to improve many different aspects of brain health, which is why their products are called nootropics. Users are supposed to expect increased focus, creativity, memory, attention span; better mood and well-being; decreased stress, depression, and anxiety; lower fatigue and more energy; and so on.

And based on what’s included in Find My Formula, these effects may occur at some level. The various ingredients in here are shown to affect key systems of the brain, including glutamate and acetylcholine systems; protect against inflammation and oxidative stress; enhance blood blow; protect against neuronal damage; increase brain cell communication; and increase levels of various neurotransmitters; among other things. And all of these things may lead to various benefits, such as in learning, memory, focus, mood, and mental well-being.

Who is Find My Formula Best For?

Due to the wide range of possibilities, Find My Formula is not a supplement for any specific group of people. In fact, it’s just the opposite, as it has an assortment of formulas that it recommends based on your needs.

formula support brain focus

But, if you’re someone who, in general, wants to improve any aspect of your cognitive and/or psychological health, Find My Formula may be worth looking into. It might be particularly beneficial for people with a history of cognitive impairments and related issues, as well as psychological disorders. But, in those situations, it also becomes even more necessary to consult with a doctor before using any such supplement.
