Beyond Greens Review

If there’s one thing people want in life, it’s pristine health. When we achieve that, it gives us the wherewithal to bring all our other dreams, wishes, and desires to reality — no matter what those are.

And with the supplement market growing more vast in its offerings every single year, there are many different supplements that claim to optimize human health. In particular, green drinks and all kinds of greens supplements have become highly popular today as a way to enhance health and wellness.

But do they work? Or are they just overhyped fantasies? In this article, we’re going to be breaking down a greens supplement called Beyond Greens to see if it really can benefit your health.

In this Beyond Greens review, we’ll go over everything you need to know about this greens supplement and what it does for the body. So, let’s dive into this Beyond Greens review to see if this Live Conscious supplement is worth buying and adding to your routine.

What Is Beyond Greens?

Beyond Greens is a nutritional supplement that claims to do a lot for your body. The formula is developed by a company called Live Conscious. They have a wide range of different supplements available today, but Beyond Greens is one of the most popular of the bunch.

The Beyond Greens formula is designed to be a potent superfood supplement that transcends above other green drinks. it contains 14 ingredients, including mushrooms, adaptogens, probiotics, and more- all with the intention of optimizing human health from the inside out. It is intended to not just benefit one area of health, but rather the entire body.

(Live Conscious operates with the mantra, “my mind is sharp, my body healthy, my spirit at ease.” They’ve also partnered with the Eden Reforestation Project in a pledge to help plant one million trees over the course of the year — something they’re dedicated to and fully intend to accomplish.)

Beyond Greens Benefits

Beyond Greens is touted to deliver many different health benefits, including increased energy, improved immunity, enhanced gut health, and detoxification.

Increased Energy

One of the proposed health benefits of beyond Greens is improved energy levels, likely due to various adaptogens along with detoxifying herbs that can reduce sluggishness.

Improved Immunity

Beyond Greens is also designed to improve immune health not only through direct mechanisms but also through enhancing gut health, which is connected to the immune system.

Gut Health

Beyond Greens is also supposed to improve digestive health through its inclusion of probiotics and gut-healing herbs.

Finally, Beyond Greens is designed to aid in detoxification largely by enhancing liver health. Milk thistle is the main player here, but other ingredients play a role.

Beyond Greens Review

At first glance, it seems like Beyond Greens has a good chance of being effective. But let’s dive a little deeper into this greens supplement to make sure it works well.

If you’re someone that likes to do their homework before investing in a supplement, you’ve come to the right place. We’re going to discuss some of the highlights of Beyond Greens, including what it is, how it works, the ingredients involved, and how much it costs below!

Beyond Greens Ingredients

These several proposed health benefits are due to the various ingredients in Beyond Greens. Listed below are all of the ingredients in the Beyond Greens Formula.  Beyond Green Spplement Facts

In total, there are 14 Beyond Greens ingredients. They include Acacia Gum, Rhodiola Rosea, Matcha powder, Turkey Tail, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Chlorella, FOS, XOS, Echinacea Purpurea, Milk Thistle, LactoSpore, and Ceylon Cinnamon. Let’s dive in!

Rhodiola Rosea

Let’s start with Rhodiola Rosea, which is largely known for its adaptogenic properties. It works on the HPA-axis and central nervous system to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety, and to fight fatigue.

Some research also shows it improves brain and cognitive function, enhances exercise performance, can help control diabetes, and may have anti-cancer properties

Recommended Dosage: 400-600mg per day

Matcha Powder

Up next is matcha powder, which comes from green tea leaves. But it is more powerful than traditional green tea due to its concentrated nature.

It is rich in antioxidants and catechins, which contribute to overall health. Matcha also helps to protect the liver by flushing out toxins. Furthermore, it can aid the digestive system by helping the body process nutrients.

There are also various cognitive benefits as research shows matcha improves reaction time, attention, and memory. Plus, it contains caffeine and l-theanine which can promote mental clarity. And it has anti-cancer properties, promotes heart health, and enhances weight loss.

Recommended Dosage: 1,000-4,000mg per day

Reishi Mushroom

Beyond Greens also includes organic reishi mushroom. Like other functional mushrooms, reishi may boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. Plus, it has adaptogenic properties that help to reduce stress, fatigue, and depression. Lastly, it has anti-cancer properties, helps to control blood sugar levels, and may benefit heart health.

Recommended Dosage: 1,000-1,500mg per day (extract)

Cordyceps Mushroom

Organic cordyceps mushroom is also seen in Beyond Greens. Cordyceps is largely known for its ability to increase energy levels thanks to its effects on ATP production. This is also tied into the fact that cordyceps may improve exercise performance and reduce fatigue.

Other researched health benefits include anti-aging properties, increased sex drive, better heart health, and decreased inflammation.

Recommended Dosage: 1,000-3,000mg per day

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

Beyond Greens also has organic lion’s mane mushroom, which is another mushroom that can benefit health in many ways.

Research shows that lion’s mane mushroom is particularly beneficial for mental health as it protects against dementia, improves brain function and memory, and relieves symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Lion’s mane also decreases inflammation, protects against ulcers in the digestive tract, reduces the risk of heart disease, has anticancer and anti-diabetes properties, boosts the immune system, and reduces oxidative stress.

Recommended Dosage: 500-3,000mg per day

Turkey Tail Mushroom

The final mushroom included in Beyond Greens is organic turkey tail mushroom. Turkey tail is rich with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, and it can reduce oxidative stress and support a healthy immune system.

Turkey tail is also beneficial for digestive health since it is loaded with prebiotics. Finally, some research shows turkey tail might improve insulin resistance and aid exercise performance.

Recommended Dosage: 1,000-3,000mg per day

Now let’s look at chlorella, which is a source of algae. It is a very nutritious superfood with a number of unique benefits. For example, chlorella binds to heavy metals and assists the body with a detox.

It also enhances the immune system, lowers cholesterol, acts as an antioxidant, reduces inflammation and oxidative stress, regulates blood pressure and blood sugar, and enhances aerobic endurance.

Recommended Dosage: 1,500-3,000mg per day

Beyond Greens Ingredients

Echinacea Purpurea

Next, in Beyond Greens, we have echinacea, which is most commonly known for its benefits for immune health. But it also is rich in antioxidants that reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. And some research shows it lowers blood sugar levels, reduces anxiety, can help treat skin concerns, and has anti-cancer properties

Recommended Dosage: 300-1,000mg per day

Milk Thistle

The next ingredient in Beyond Greens is milk thistle, which is primarily known for its detoxification properties since it protects the liver against toxins. But milk thistle also has antioxidant properties, reduces inflammation and oxidative stress, prevents age-related cognitive decline, protects the bones, boosts breast milk production, improves cancer treatment, helps treat acne, and lowers blood sugar levels

Recommended Dosage: 200-500mg per day

Beyond Greens also includes Lactospore, which is a powerful probiotic strain that can benefit digestive health and increase the number of good bacteria in the gut. In turn, it may also benefit the body’s immune system and other areas connected to the gut.

Source: probiotic preparation from a company called Sabinsa, contains lactic acid-producing bacteria from Bacillus coagulans

Recommended Dosage: n/a

Side Effects: increase in stomach gas and bloating when taken in high doses

Also included in this greens powder supplement is FOS (fructooligosaccharides). It is a non-digestible carbohydrate source and thus acts as a prebiotic. And prebiotics supply probiotics with fuel, so it supports the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut and helps suppress bad bacteria.

FOS is also shown to decrease cholesterol levels and reduce certain types of cancer.

Recommended Dosage: n/a

Another prebiotic included is XOS (xylooligosaccharides). Like FOS, it supplies fuel for probiotics and contributes to a healthy gut. And it is growing popular because it doesn’t require as big of a dosage to be beneficial

Recommended Dosage: n/a

Acacia Gum

Winding down, we have acacia gum, also known as gum arabic. It is a type of dietary fiber that comes from Acacia trees. As a result, it can benefits gut health and promote good bacteria.

Other research shows that it relieves pain and irritation, improves wound healing, promotes oral health, reduces body fat, and soothes coughs and sore throats.

Recommended Dosage: n/a

Ceylon Cinnamon

The final ingredient in Beyond Greens is Ceylon cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is rich with antioxidants and thus effectively reduces inflammation and oxidative stress.

One of the other main benefits of cinnamon is that it controls blood sugar and insulin levels. And it may even reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Recommended Dosage: n/a

Does Beyond Greens Work?

All in all, Beyond Greens should improve many areas of health and wellness, although the degree to which these occur might not be as great as you’d anticipate. Beyond Greens has many health-promoting and research-backed ingredients known for improving digestion system function, gut health, detoxification, immune system support, energy levels, and more.

However, many of the ingredients are dosed far too low, which makes it unlikely that you’ll see maximal benefits.

Claims vs. Reality

The Beyond Greens supplement is packed with some of the most effective ingredients available in supplements today — especially when searching for an immune-boosting, detox-improving, and energy-enhancing supplement. All 14 ingredients come with a lot of scientific evidence for proof.

Unfortunately, the doses of each ingredient are low, except that of Echinacea purpurea. Even the amount of probiotics is rather small compared to other products. This is a notorious downfall of many greens powders, but at least Beyond Greens shows you how much is in the product.

It’s a little disappointing that the functional mushrooms (all four of them) only combine for 100mg, as well as the 50mg of Rhodiola Rosea. At that point, you’re better off taking them out of the formula with a higher dose of some of the other ingredients. It just seems like they could’ve done better here.

So, I’d expect mild health benefits from Beyond Greens, particularly when combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle, but nothing extraordinary.

Safety and Side Effects

Beyond Greens is safe and well-tolerated for most people, although possible side effects include:

  • Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, and constipation
  • Headache
  • Allergic reactions
  • Jitters, anxiety, and nervousness

Also, Beyond Greens is dairy-free, vegan-friendly, gluten-free, GMP-certified, non-GMO, keto-friendly, soy-free, preservative-free, and shellfish-free. And it is 3rd party tested and manufactured in the USA.

Beyond Greens Pros vs. Cons

It doesn’t matter how many supplements you do your research on; you’ll never come across a perfect supplement. There will be pros and cons to each one — even the ones that are 100% safe and most effective. That’s why it’s important to weigh your options every single time. So, here are the main pros and cons of this green drink:

  • High-quality, well-research ingredients with multi-faceted benefits
  • Dairy-free, vegan-friendly, gluten-free, GMP-certified, non-GMO, keto-friendly, soy-free, preservative-free, and shellfish-free
  • 365-day, 100% money-back guarantee
  • Not that expensive at $1.33 per serving at the most
  • Only 3.7 grams of powder per scoop, which easily mixes in water without clumping
  • Shouldn’t have any major side effects, unless not taken as directed
  • Manufactured in the USA and 3rd-party tested

  • Dosages of functional mushrooms are extremely small (almost to no effect)
  • Very small doses of chlorella, Rhodiola Rosea, matcha Powder, and other ingredients
  • Not a lot of caffeine, so not a huge energy boost
  • Has a light matcha flavor, but still likely “earthy” flavor

Beyond Greens Competitors and Alternatives

While Beyond Greens uses a wide range of very effective ingredients, the formula isn’t carefully put together — mainly regarding the doses. If you’re looking for something that improves your body in a wide variety of ways, there are potentially better options out there.

Two that we suggest are the HealthyCell Pro AM/PM Cell Health System and the Dr. Cabral Detox by Equilibrium. They’re a little more expensive, but they do so much for your body, have well-thought-out formulas, and give yourself all-day protection from life’s biggest stressors.

Let’s take a closer look at each one!

HealthyCell Pro AM/PM Cell Health System

Alternative For Beyond Greens-HealthyCell Pro AM:PM Cell Health System

The HealthyCell Pro AM/PM Cell Health System is a supplement in capsule form. There are actually two different supplements in the system, a morning formula and an afternoon formula. They’re designed to give your body the nutrients it needs for optimum function all day long.

The morning formula is more geared towards supplying the body with energy, focus, mental clarity, and optimal cell function. It allows you to get the most out of your day and gives you the start that you’re always hoping for. There are a total of 75 ingredients in this formula alone.

The evening formula is more geared towards helping the body wind down after a tough day. It’s very important your body receives the rest and relaxation it needs daily. The 61 ingredients found in this formula do just that. Together, the morning and evening formulas are exquisite.

Dr. Cabral Detox by Equilibrium

Alternative For Beyond Greens-Dr. Cabral Detox by Equilibrium

The Dr. Cabral Detox by Equilibrium is more of a detox cleanse than anything else, but the products that are used in the cleanse are really the home-run hitters. You don’t necessarily have to follow the cleanse, but you can definitely get a lot of use out of the products that come with it.

The Daily Nutritional Support is loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein, and other necessary nutrients for daily support. The FM Detox has vitamin C, selenium, N-acetyl Cysteine, Glycine, L-Carnitine, L-Methionine, taurine, L-Glutamine, Alpha-Lipoic acid, and two herbal blends.

Lastly, the AYU Detox contains several Ayurvedic extracts, including Emblica officinalis, Terminalia bellerica, Terminalia chebula, ginger root, and turmeric rhizome. The FM Detox and AYU Detox are in capsule form, while the Daily Nutritional Support comes in powder form.

Final Verdict: Beyond Greens

All in all, Beyond Greens is a potentially useful green drink but not a miracle worker. The ingredients included are extremely popular and well-researched, with scientific evidence supporting them for overall health. But the main issue is the dosages, which aren’t exactly high enough to do much for the body.

You’ll likely get some benefit out of the formula, but don’t bank on too much. If you’re looking for something that’s much more extensive, you’re better off going with the HealthyCell Pro AM/PM Cell Health System. For a third option, the Dr. Cabral Detox works well too.

Either way, you should always take care of your body by exercising often, adopting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet, sleeping well, and reducing the amount of stress in your life. Supplements aren’t the end-all-be-all solution, but they certainly can help.
