Intense Pumps

One of the most sought-after feelings in the gym is a great pump. And Redcon1 Big Noise claims to deliver intense, skin-splitting pumps with powerful blood flow enhancers such as CitraPeak and betaine.

These ingredients may also improve muscle endurance and help you to perform more reps with less fatigue, leading to workout domination.

Laser Focus

We all know that focus and mental concentration are just as vital in your workout as physical performance.

Well, Big Noise Pre-Workout is advertised to give you laser focus and clarity, particularly with theanine, choline bitartrate, and other nootropics. And since there’s no stimulants, you get all these benefits without any jitters or anxiety.

Boosted Strength & Muscle Gains

Redcon1 Big Noise Pre-Workout also claims to pave the way for enhanced strength and muscle gains. Their formula is uniquely crafted to optimize your strength during the workout, while also delivering key nutrients to your muscles during and after the workout, leading to greater anabolic effects.

And over time, this can lead to improved strength and more muscle. You know…the things most people are after in the gym!

Ultimately, Big Noise sounds enticing if you want a stim-free pre-workout.

But does it actually work as advertised or is it overhyped?

Let’s find out!

Redcon1 Big Noise Pre-Workout Ingredients

Redcon1 Big Noise contains several active ingredients, including amino acids, herbs, and micronutrients.

Below are the Big Noise Pre-Workout ingredients:

  • Choline Bitartrate
  • Sodium
  • Betaine Anhydrous
  • Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl
  • CitraPeak
  • L-Theanine
  • Schisandra Extract
Redcon1 Big Noise Supplement Facts

Choline Bitartrate (407mg)

Choline bitartrate is a well-absorbed form of choline. This compound can increase acetylcholine levels in the brain, which is needed for focus, memory, and general cognitive function.

Acetylcholine also plays a role in muscle contractions, so choline could also potentially boost strength and power.

However, there hasn’t been much evidence to prove these benefits. And some studies show no benefits

Sodium (140mg)

Sodium, which comes from Himalayan pink salt in this formula, is an essential mineral and electrolyte. You lose a lot of it through sweat, so taking in extra sodium during workouts may help maintain sodium levels and fluid balance. This can help you maintain muscle function during exercise.

But the total dose here at 140mg isn’t a whole lot, especially if you workout for a long time or sweat a lot.

Betaine Anhydrous (2,500mg)

Betaine anhydrous is one of the most common supplemental forms of betaine, which itself is a metabolite of choline.

One of the benefits of betaine is increased cellular hydration, due to its role as an osmolyte. This may increase muscle cell hydration and muscular endurance.

Additionally, betaine can reduce lactate build-up during exercise, which could also enhance muscle endurance and overall performance.

Some studies have shown these benefits, but there are also some with subpar or no results. So it’s not entirely clear

Even still, many pre-workouts like to include this for potential benefits, such as Ryse Godzilla Pre-Workout.

Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl (500mg)

Acetyl L-carnitine is a form of L-carnitine that has a high bioavailability.

L-carnitine plays a role in fat metabolism and may help the body use fat for energy. On top of that, l-carnitine can cross the blood-brain barrier and may enhance focus and cognitive function.

Additionally, L-carnitine has anti-inflammatory effects and can also reduce lactate buildup during exercise.

So, overall, this compound seems to be beneficial for enhancing focus, muscle endurance, strength, and overall exercise performance, due to various pathways.

CitraPeak (200mg)

CitraPeak is a trademarked form of bitter orange and sweet orange extracts, which provide a high concentration of hesperidin. And hesperidin is one of the main flavonoid compounds found in these fruits which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Related to exercise, hesperidin can also increase nitric oxide and blood flow levels, which could lead to better muscle pumps and greater nutrient delivery to the muscles.

Overall, CitraPeak may be beneficial for increasing strength and power and also boosting recovery.

Plus, they use glucosyl-hesperidin, which is more rapidly absorbed.

L-Theanine (100mg)

L-theanine is an amino acid that can increase alpha waves and GABA levels in the brain. This leads to a calmer, yet simultaneously alert state of mind, which is ideal for focus and overall cognitive function.

Additionally, theanine may reduce the immune-suppressive effects of intense exercise, which could help you recover better.

Schisandra Extract (100mg)

Schisandra is a berry that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and other traditional medicine systems for performance-enhancing effects.

Today, research shows that schisandra may in fact benefit exercise performance. This is mainly due to its ability to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, which can also lead to fatigue reduction in not only the muscles but also the nervous system.

Schisandra is also included in some adaptogenic supplements too, such as Moon Juice Power Dust, mainly for stress resilience.

Does Redcon1 Big Noise Pre-Workout Work?

It seems likely that Big Noise Pre-Workout will be an effective non-stim pre-workout.

Redcon1 Big Noise contains a great line-up of research-backed pre-workout ingredients, which may offer benefits for focus, muscle pumps, and endurance, just as they claim.

Additionally, most of their main ingredients are dosed properly, including high doses of choline, and respectable, solid doses of betaine, carnitine, theanine, and CitraPeak.

So, altogether Big Noise Non-Stim Pre-Workout is well-formulated.

Of course, individual results will vary. And the effects for most people will likely not be anything more than moderate. But for supplements, that’s really the best you can do, so we’re likely looking at a good product.

How Does Redcon1 Big Noise Pre-Workout Compare?

Big Noise Non-Stim Pre-Workout is one of the better stim-free pre-workouts out there. This is due to the use of respected, well-researched compounds, a fully transparent label, solid doses overall, and no added nonsense.

We also wanted to compare Redcon1 Big Noise to other popular stim-free pre-workouts, such as Huge Supplements Pump Serum. This formula contains 13 active ingredients, including a high dose of choline bitratrate, citrulline, betaine anhydrous, beetroot, tyrosine, and huperzine A. It’s a really well-crafted formula with possible benefits for focus, pumps, energy, fatigue reduction, and enhanced endurance.

Pump Serum is honestly one of the best non-stim pre-workouts out there and has an edge over Redcon1 Big Noise. But Big Noise is still a great choice, just not as comprehensive. Of course, you pay for what you get as Pump Serum costs more at $54.95 for 20 servings (if using max dose) whereas Big Noise is $42.99 for 30 servings.

Another great non-stim option is Swolverine Pre-Workout. This supplement has high doses of many of the top workout ingredients, such as citrulline malate, beta-alanine, betaine, carnitine, and Siberian ginseng. Their well-rounded formula offers many potential benefits, including better blood flow and pumps, enhanced hydration, increased muscular endurance, and diminished fatigue. Additionally, it’s all-natural and has a fully transparent label.

Swolverine Pre-Workout is definitely a high-quality non-stim pre-workout. It has a few more ingredients than Redcon1 Big Noise, but it also is higher-priced at $54.99 for 25 servings. Again, both are great choices here.

Although if it helps you decide, we’d say Big Noise seems better for pumps whereas Swolverine Pre is better for reduced fatigue and enhanced endurance.

Who is Redcon1 Big Noise Best For?

Redcon1 Big Noise is best for people who want a non-stim pre-workout to enhance their workout performance, especially muscle pumps, endurance, and focus.

It’s a great option for people who want to avoid stimulants altogether, as well as for people who are otherwise fine with stimulants generally but work out later in the day and don’t want a pre-workout disrupting their sleep.
