Reaal Protein Powder is a nutritional protein supplement that helps you build muscle mass more efficiently. Reaal (pronounced as “ray-all”) markets itself as the “next-generation” of muscle-building workout supplements designed to facilitate muscle growth and repair post-workout.

Protein powder supplements are a huge industry. According to Euromonitor, the protein powder industry makes up nearly $4.6 billion of the $7 billion sports nutrition industry, almost 70%. The revenue from protein powder sales is projected to grow to $7.5 billion by the end of 2020. As more people become attuned to health and fitness, these trends are expected to continue.

Reaal uses a patented essential amino acid technology in its formulation and contains a blend of the 9 essential amino acids needed for muscle growth and regeneration.

However, there are a ton of post-workout supplements and protein powders, some with bold claims. How can you know which is suitable for you or even legit?

Today we will cover Reaal workout supplement powder and talk a bit about its benefits, cons, ingredients, where you can find it, and whether or not it can help you increase muscle gains.

Reaal Amino Acids Product

Overview: Reeal Protein Powder

Reeal-Protein-Powder-Flavors

Real protein powder is made from a blend of the nine essential amino acids your body needs to function. These amino acids are dubbed “essential” because the body cannot synthesize them in vivo, and they must be obtained from external sources.

Reaal claims that its protein/amino acid blend is based on over 40 years of research and has over 24 clinical studies backing its efficacy. Reaal powder claims to be three times more effective than whey protein alone and 32 times more effective than previous branch-chain amino acids (BCAA) technology.

Their unique, essential acid makeup boasts faster absorption rates and more complete bioavailability than competing dietary protein powders.

Reaal’s amino acid powder blend is vegan, gluten-free, kosher, lactose-free, and caffeine-free. It is a colored powder that mixes well with water, and you can prepare a single serving in as little as 10 seconds. For optimal results, Reaal recommends mixing one scoop with 8-12 oz. of water and consuming 1-3 glasses a day, depending on your workout goals.

Who Makes Reaal Amino Acids?

Reeal-Protein-Powder-Logo

Reaal makes reeal workout supplement powder. Reaal markets its products as the “next generation of optimal muscle growth and repair.” The specific amino acid formula and manufacturing process is a company secret developed from over 40 years of research and clinical trials.

Alongside their flavored workout powders, Reaal makes workout “capsules”—single-serve workout supplements in a convenient pill form alongside their flavored workout powders.

Unfortunately, there are limited reviews on the website, and we were unable to find a Better Business Bureau entry for the company, so little can be said about the company’s reputation. Although this is something to keep in mind, it is common in newer brands and companies and is not necessarily a red flag regarding product quality.

Ingredients in Reaal

The main ingredients in Reaal powder are a blend of the nine essential amino acids.

Each serving (1 scoop) provides 20 Calories, 1g Total Carbohydrates, 4g Protein, and 3.6g REAAL9 Patented-Ratio EAA Blend (L-Leucine, L-Lysine HCl, L-Valine, L-Isoleucine, L-Arginine, L-Threonine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Methionine, L-Histidine, and L-Tryptophan).

Does Reaal Work?

Amino acids are the main structural units of proteins and are required for practically every function in the body. Most importantly, for our purposes, amino acids form the myosin proteins that rebuild muscle after working out. So the logic here is that taking more amino acids quickens the production of protein, thus leading to more muscle mass.

To be fair, the above might sound like a bit of simplified “bro science” that leaves out much of the complexity involved in muscle growth.

Reaal claims that its amino acid formula is developed by professionals and has over 24 clinical studies backing its efficacy. Still, we have yet to find links to these studies on its website.

That being said, it is well established in the scientific community that amino acid concentrations positively correlate with muscle protein synthesis. However, the exact strength of this correlation has yet to be discovered.

So, although we do not have access to the claimed clinical studies, if Reaal’s claims are valid about its amino acid formula, then there is good reason to think Reaal protein powder will help build muscle mass at least better than in the absence of any supplements.

Remember that no muscle-building supplement is magic and needs to be combined with adequate exercise and diet to maximize results.

In addition to the other benefits of this supplement, one serving of Reaal contains only 20 calories and can be taken up to three times daily without significantly affecting caloric intake.

Lastly, Reaal contains no caffeine. Although caffeine can boost workout performance and energy levels, it can cause dehydration which ultimately offsets muscle gains.

What amino acid is best for muscle growth?

According to some research, Essential Amino Acids like Isoleucine, Leucine, and Valine, all of which are contained in Reaal workout powder, are super helpful in building muscle and increasing gains from your workout sessions.

Which is better, BCAAs or EAAs?

The longstanding debate between BCAAs and EAAs has been a hot topic in gyms and fitness centers. EAAs seem to be better because they contain the amino acids in BCAAs and other essential amino acids.

What happens if you take amino acids every day?

Amino acids are generally safe for daily consumption within recommended ranges as they occur in foods that we eat naturally.

Side Effects and Safety

Amino acid supplements, in general, are known to have a few side effects, including upset stomach, diarrhea, dry skin, and dizziness.

Reaal claims that its products are made with a “bloat-free” formula, so you shouldn’t see too many stomach problems.Amino acid ingestion can be harmful in individuals with rare genetic disorders and should be avoided.

Reeal Workout Powder: Worth it or Not?

Reaal-Amino-Acids-Disclaimer

Reaal boasts an impressive image and has research-based products, so we recommend at least giving it a try.

Amino acids are known to have a positive relationship with muscle growth, and the company looks like they are quickly growing, which is a positive sign.
