Physician’s Choice Probiotic Review

Physician’s Choice Probiotic is a supplement containing over ten bacterial strains for improved gut health, nutrient absorption, and immune health.

Probiotics are a pretty popular fad in the supplement world. These supplements are made from living cultures of bacteria and yeast and help with your digestion by cultivating a healthy gut microbiome.

You see, in your stomach are trillions of bacteria. Most of these bacteria are healthy and help you digest stuff properly. When the proportions of these bacteria are out of line, you can experience digestive problems like constipation, gas, bloating, and indigestion.

Probiotics are meant to reorient your gut microbiome. There are a lot of probiotic supplements out there, like Just Thrive Probiotic and Renew Life Probiotics, so how do you know if you should choose Physician’s Choice Probiotic?

In our review today, we will cover Physician’s Choice Probiotic and see if it really is worth it. We will cover the pros, cons, cost, and side effects. Then, we will give our verdict on whether you should use it or not.

Let’s get started with this review of Physician’s Choice Probiotic.

About Physician’s Choice Probiotic

Physicians Choice Probiotic Capsules are a probiotic supplement designed to ease digestion, amongst other benefits.

The probiotic blend contains 60 billion CFU (‘colony-forming units’) and ten different strains of probiotics. This is an extremely high blend of probiotics for a dietary supplement. Most strains used are pretty common and constitutive of a healthy gut biome.

Physician’s Choice also contains a prebiotic blend that serves the probiotic colonies. They claim that very few probiotic supplements use a prebiotic blend, which does not strike us as true in our estimation.

Physician’s Choice recommends taking one capsule per day during the morning. You can take it with or without food, but the creators recommend taking it 30 minutes before you eat.

Aside from digestive relief, Physician’s Choice claims it can improve your immune system performance, nutrient absorption, and improve overall health. The gut plays an important connection with other parts of the body, like the skin, hair, brain, and nails.

Physician’s Choice Probiotic Capsules And Bottle

Physician’s Choice Probiotic Capsules are made by Physician’s Choice, a health supplement company. Physician’s Choice is to “ensure everyone has access to safe, high-quality supplements that actually work.”

The company claims that all its products are tested by third parties for purity and potency. They also claim that all of the ingredients used in their products are backed by strong research and made from high-quality raw materials.

We could not find a reliable BBB page for the company, but we found a Trustpilot page. Physician’s Choice has a 4.5/5 out of 449 reviews, an “excellent” rating. That is a fair amount of high reviews, and we can be sure that they have not doctored the review page as some companies do on their official sites.

How Does Physician’s Choice Probiotic Work?

Physician’s Choice gives the gut a proper dose of probiotic and prebiotic supplements. Probiotic supplements have doses of bacteria measured in ‘CFUs,” which means ‘culture forming units.’ Essentially, each CFU is a unit of bacteria large enough to form a colony.

Physician’s Choice has over 60 billion CFUs, which is a very high amount compared to some other probiotic supplements.

Probiotic colonies can’t survive on their own. They need food to establish and take hold of. Physician’s Choice includes a prebiotic blend that feeds the bacteria, ensuring it gets the food it needs to survive and take root in the intestines.

Now to be clear, the scientific verdict on probiotics is still out. There is currently no real consensus over whether probiotics actually help digestion. There is some evidence that they may assist with certain kinds of digestive issues, but there has yet to be a solid consensus.

So whenever we see probiotics, we are skeptical because there is no accepted clinical evidence that they actually work. That said, many respected doctors and experts have been strong advocates of probiotics.

Going just by user reviews, though, the product seems to work. Most custom reviews are positive and claim the probiotic helped their digestion significantly. Customer testimonials are not on par with clinical studies, but they are still a kind of evidence, nonetheless.

Physician’s Choice Probiotic Ingredients

Physician’s Choice has two major active ingredients in its blend: the probiotic blend and the prebiotic blend.

The probiotic balance contains ten strains of healthy bacteria, including lactobacilli and Bifidobacterium. These two strains of bacteria are some of the most common in the stomach and are involved in most processes. The blend contains a very high concentration of these two general families of bacteria.

The prebiotic blend is meant to feed the probiotic bacteria. The prebiotic is made from organic materials, including organic Jerusalem roots, organic chicanery root powder, and artichoke root. It also contains fiber gum bio, a special ingredient that protects the stomach from harmful bacteria.

Physician’s Choice Probiotics Safety

Physician’s Choice has a few known side effects. The most commonly reported side effect is bloating and upset stomach.

These two side effects are common when first taking a probiotic supplement. They should subside after you get used to taking the blend regularly. In rare cases, some customers reported a rash.

Although it has some side effects that are relatively common but has a good reception, which makes us convinced about its effects.
