huge bcaa review

BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) are commonly used by bodybuilders and weightlifters, especially during workouts.

These supplements are designed to improve recovery and boost muscular endurance so you can get more out of your weight training sessions.

However, the quality can vary from product to product. And there are even some supplements out there now which add in additional ingredients to provide potentially greater benefits.

In this review, we’ll cover a BCAA supplement called Huge BCAA. You’ll see the main features, ingredients, and some ways that it stands out from other BCAA products.

Keep reading this Huge BCAA review to see if it’s truly the one you want!

About Huge BCAA

Huge BCAA is advertised as a high-dose BCAA and amino acid supplement. It’s made by Huge Supplements, a reputable company that provides many other workout products, such as Wrecked Pre-Workout, Whey Protein, Sapogenix, Ecdysterone, and Exterminate

Huge BCAA

Their Huge BCAA supplement comes loaded with 15g of amino acids per serving, including 8g of the all-important BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine.

On top of that, Huge BCAA also has glutamine, coconut water, and electrolytes to further support performance during intense workouts.

Overall, Huge BCAA is designed to take your workout intensity and performance to the next level.

Huge BCAA Benefits

The main claimed benefits of Huge BCAA are:

  • Enhanced Muscular Endurance
  • Improved Recovery
  • Greater Muscle Growth

Enhanced Muscular Endurance

Lifting heavy can tax the muscles, which leads to fatigue. And while this is a normal part of working out, maybe you want to get the absolute most out of your body and don’t want to be set back by muscle fatigue.

Well, Huge BCAA claims to enhance muscular endurance by providing the muscles with critical BCAAs and other amino acids. They also have glutamine and coconut water which they say increases hydration to further enhance performance.

These benefits may be particularly helpful when you train fasted or have a really long workout session.

Improved Recovery

If you don’t give your body the nutrients and recovery it needs, you won’t see optimal results, no matter how dialed in your training is.

Huge BCAA is advertised to improve recovery and decrease soreness. They say that the BCAAs and other amino acids will kick-start the repair process and get you ready to go for your next workout as quickly as possible.

Greater Muscle Growth

There’s not much more frustrating than putting work in the gym but not seeing any gains.

Huge BCAA claims to give you greater muscle growth. The BCAAs in particular are designed to ramp up muscle protein synthesis to enhance lean muscle mass.

Now, at this point, you’re probably wondering if Huge BCAA really delivers on these claims.

And you’ll have to keep reading to find out!

Huge BCAA Ingredients

Huge BCAA contains BCAAs, amino acids, and other compounds.

Below are all of the ingredients in Huge BCAA:

  • BCAA 2:1:1 (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine)
  • Glutamine
  • Coconut Water Powder
  • Other Essential Amino Acids:
    • Lysine
    • Threonine

    • Methionine
  • Electrolytes:
    • Calcium
    • Potassium
    • Sodium

BCAA 2:1:1 (8,000mg)

One of the main parts of this formula is the BCAA 2:1:1 component, which contains 8,000mg of leucine, isoleucine, and valine in a 2:1:1 ratio.

All of these BCAAs are important for enhancing muscle protein synthesis, which is necessary for muscle growth and recovery. The 2:1:1 ratio is also important since leucine in particular seems the most important for muscle protein synthesis.

Research shows that BCAAs may help to reduce muscle soreness and improve recovery, but it’s not clear if they really enhance performance or muscle growth, especially if you get enough BCAAs in your diet.

Glutamine (5,000mg)

Glutamine is an amino acid that is sometimes needed in higher amounts when recovery needs are really high.

This amino acid may improve muscle recovery and ensure optimal immune function.

Coconut Water Powder (750mg)

Coconut water powder is rich in electrolytes, such as magnesium, potassium, and sodium. Therefore, it may help to enhance hydration, especially during long workouts where you sweat a bunch.

Other Essential Amino Acids (1,675mg)

In addition to the BCAAs, Huge BCAA also has the other six of the nine essential amino acids: lysine, threonine, tryptophan, phenylalanine, histidine, and methionine.

It might be effective to include these since it’s known that BCAAs alone don’t enhance muscle protein synthesis, it takes all nine essential amino acids to really spark the recovery and muscle growth process.

Again, if you get enough from your diet, these won’t do much. But it could be a good option for fasted training or when you have really high recovery needs.

Electrolytes (200mg)

Huge BCAA also has 200mg of electrolytes, which comes from 80mg of calcium, 40mg of potassium, and 80mg of sodium

In general, these electrolytes support hydration, muscle function, and nervous system health. But these aren’t high amounts at all, so there probably won’t be many effects.

Does Huge BCAA Work?

Overall, Huge BCAA should likely work. But there are some things to consider.

For example, if you’re someone who eats a lot of high-quality protein and really dials in your nutrition and hydration, it’s unlikely that Huge BCAA will provide any major benefits.

With that said, Huge BCAA may give noticeable performance benefits for people who train when fasted or for lifters who go through really long, intense workouts.

And Huge BCAA may also improve workout recovery and reduce soreness.

Just keep in mind that the effects likely won’t be anything crazy. But it could be that little boost you need to get more progress.

How Does Huge BCAA Compare?

Huge BCAA is definitely one of the best BCAA supplements out there. 8,000mg of BCAAs per serving is on the higher end compared to most other BCAA products.

Plus, we really like that it includes a good dose of glutamine, coconut water powder, and other essential amino acids.

Additionally, they use a 2:1:1 ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine, which is generally accepted as the best ratio.

When compared to Ghost BCAA, which is another good supplement, Huge BCAA has 8,000mg of BCAAs compared to 7,000mg in Ghost. They both have the 2:1:1 ratio, though. And Huge BCAA costs $40 for 25 servings, whereas Ghost BCAA, costs only $27.99 for a 30-day supply.

Lastly, we know some people may simply want a pure BCAA product, with no other ingredients. In this case, you may want to go with something like Promix BCAA

Who is Huge BCAA Best For?

Huge BCAA is best for lifters and bodybuilders who train in a fasted state and/or go through really long, intense weight training sessions.

It’s also potentially a good option for people who have a hard time getting enough BCAAs and other amino acids in the diet.

It comes in four flavors:

This is a bit on the higher end for BCAA supplements. But also keep in mind that it has other ingredients often not included in standard BCAA products.

Verdict: Huge BCAA Review

Huge BCAA definitely seems to be one of the better picks out of all the BCAA supplements out there.

There is a high dose of BCAAs per serving in the right ratio. Plus, they use glutamine, coconut water powder, other essential amino acids, and electrolytes to further support workout performance and recovery.

It’s priced a bit on the higher end, but still offers much more than a normal BCAA. Overall, we recommend looking into it, especially if you train fasted or really go through intense weight training sessions on a regular basis and want to boost recovery.
