Brazilian Gisele Bundchen is one of the world’s best-known models and was the highest paid model for 10 consecutive years. As a teenager, her mother encouraged her and two of her sisters to take a modeling course, and the class paid off because Bundchen was discovered by the Elite Modeling Agency at a shopping mall at age 14. She then moved to Seo Paolo to begin her career. Her big break came in London when she was selected for the Alexander McQueen spring collection in 1998 because she could walk in tall heels on the slippery runway. Bundchen was also a Victoria’s Secret model, and part of the ‘heroine chic’ modeling trend in the 90s. She has done some acting and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her supporting role in Taxi. Bundchen is also the executive producer for an environmental cartoon called Gisele & the Green Team. She is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme and is involved with many charities, including Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children. She is married to the NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Bundchen is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 126 lbs.

Although models are famous for starving themselves, this is not true in Bundchen’s case. Her diet has undergone a complete transformation over the course of her career, no surprise, considering she started modeling when she was just a teen. While she once lived on cigarettes, Frappucinos and burgers, she now only eats the highest quality foods: all organic fruits, vegetables eggs, and wild fish. She’ll even eat dessert, although it is usually just a little bit of dark chocolate. Bundchen engages in intermittent fasting twice a week, holding off on eating until lunchtime. When on vacation, she and hubby Tom Brady follow a raw foods diet called 80/20, meaning they eat raw foods 80% of the time (the other 20% are cooked). A raw foods diet is plant-based, meaning mostly made up of fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh Air Focus

Bundchen prefers to get her exercise out of doors whenever possible. She enjoys horseback riding when at her vacation home in Costa Rica where she says she can be “fully integrated and present in nature.” She also enjoys skiing and surfing

Bundchen is a Bruce Lee fan. She did kung fu 5 days a week for 7 years, even when she was pregnant. She loves kicking and punching, as well other types of intense exercise.
