Flat Tummy Lollipops Review – Are These Legit?

Hunger can be an annoying and invasive thing. It can strike at the worst possible moment, like in the middle of a meeting, at an event, or just as you’re sitting down to enjoy a movie.

Since hunger is an inherent part of being human, it won’t likely go away anytime soon. However, there are things that can help hold it at bay for those times you just can’t eat.

Flat Tummy Lollipops are one of those things. Brought to you by the makers of Flat Tummy Tea, these are little suckers that taste good, curb cravings, and are low in calories? Yes, please!

Let’s take a look to see what Flat Tummy appetite suppressant lollipops taste like and whether they work.

About Flat Tummy Lollipops

As a company, Flat Tummy has been around since 2013, launching its lollipop line in 2018. The company first started promoting detox teas similar to Skinny Bunny TeaKim Kardashian has praised the crave-busting pops, posting about how much she loves them on her Instagram. The lollipops come in four fruit flavors: grape, watermelon, yellow apple, and berry.

 Flat Tummy Lollipop Benefits

Of course, the main benefit of Flat Tummy’s lollipops is their appetite suppressant qualities. By default, that can lead to weight loss, and thus, a flatter tummy. While they are not designed to be a strict weight loss supplement on their own, they can help with between-meal cravings when lunch or dinner is still hours away and you find your stomach rumbling.

 Flat Tummy Lollipop Ingredients

The main important ingredient of Flat Tummy Lollipops is an appetite suppressant called Satiereal. Satiereal is a plant-derived extract of saffron, extracted from the flowers of the saffron crocus (Crocus sativus L.). Over the years, saffron has been used for easing digestion and even for treating depression—further benefits. So Flat Tummy Lollipops may not only help fight hunger and cravings, they may make you a little happier!

Other ingredients include cane sugar, brown rice syrup, beet juice, turmeric, and natural flavors. It’s a good thing these hunger-controlling pops don’t have tons of ingredients, which means they’re relatively healthy—especially since cane sugar and brown rice syrup are two of the less-offensive sweeteners out there.

 Do Flat Tummy Lollipops Work?

ingredients in flat tummy product

The million-dollar question for every product now needs an answer for Flat Tummy Lollipops. With a product like this, the answer can be somewhat subjective. “Appetite suppression” can vary based on levels of hunger, personal biology, and psychological factors.

Several users say that they notice a difference in cravings and snacking desires within the first few days of using the pops. Of course, there are always those who seem to notice no effect, although that’s not the majority.

Some say they like the taste but it’s not the greatest appetite suppressant, and some say they help with cravings but that the taste is bad. There are a few who say the lollipops are good enough to eat like candy! Flavor opinions aside, it does seem that the appetite suppressant effect does work for a majority of customers.

Many of the negative reviews online stem from ordering problems, not issues with the product itself. Some have complained about the unbalance of flavors in the bag, stating that they received only one watermelon pop and loads of grape, or something similar.

On their website, Flat Tummy mixes the reviews of all their products, so it’s hard to see specifically what lollipop users think and filter them out. However, if most consumers state that they notice a difference in their snacking habits, it’s safe to say the product is working.

 Flat Tummy and Carbs

There are a few who feel that the sugar in the lollipops counteracts the reduction in snacking and effectively makes you eat more carbs than you otherwise would. Logically, though, that doesn’t make too much sense.

Flat Tummy pops are 35 calories and 9 carbs each—with health benefits. A couple other popular lollipops (whose brands shall remain nameless) contain 20 calories and 5.3 carbs per small pop for a healthy, organic choice…and 45 calories, 11 carbs for a mainstream, non-healthy brand.

So for their size and positive side effects, it may make sense to consume Flat Tummy pops rather than snacking in between meals. Besides, if you’re using them to curb cravings, it only makes sense that they have a few calories and carbs for your body to process. Might as well enjoy the taste at the same time.

 Who Are They Best for?

Flat Tummy pops are great for those who are busy and can’t take a meal break as soon as they should. They’re also excellent for those with cravings and snacking issues, especially those who find themselves snacking mindlessly out of boredom or other feelings rather than actual hunger. Of course, those looking to shed a few pounds by eating less and cutting out snacking will benefit—especially if these are used along with a diet and exercise program.

At the very least, the lollipop will give you something to suck on that will take your focus off snacking. And at best, it’ll ward off your cravings until your next meal hits. You may even find yourself postponing meals as well.

Flat Tummy Lollipops Safety & Side Effects

There are no reported side effects from Flat Tummy Lollipops aside from the very occasionally reported digestive issue, such as increased gas or a bit of nausea. As for the safety of the ingredients, the only real one to question is Satiereal, since it’s a relatively new, plant-based supplement.

Other than the usual potential ingredient allergy, Satiereal and saffron are generally deemed safe for the general population. There is also the occasional report of headache or drowsiness, but most of these tend to occur with large quantities of Satiereal or saffron, and that’s not typical.

In addition, Satiereal may help with emotional well-being, which is a big issue for emotional eaters who snack to make themselves feel better. The saffron-based Satiereal seems to provide a holistic solution to appetite and hunger cravings.

Moderation

While it is true that sucking on 35-calorie, 9-carb lollipops all day long may make you gain or avoid losing weight over time, Flat Tummy pops are not designed to be eaten all day long. The company’s recommendation on the back of the bag suggests one to two pops per day. That is manageable, and if you kept a food diary of regular snacking versus two lollipops, you might be surprised at the numbers.

So for those naysayers who insist that the very idea of a sugary lollipop with a plant-based appetite suppressant is a bad thing, please keep in mind that there are guidelines. The idea is not to starve yourself or to eat nothing but the pops. They are intended to be a supplement to a regular diet—which, by definition, is an addition to it. No type of lollipop is meant to be eaten as a meal replacement, even one with appetite suppressant qualities.

Studies

Clinical studies have been performed on Flat Tummy Lollipops’ key ingredient, Satiereal. A trial in which 60 women took it for eight weeks reported less snacking and cravings as well as fewer feelings of hunger. When the desire to snack is reduced as well as the compulsive snacking habit, the appetite suppressant is considered successful.

Where to Buy Flat Tummy Lollipops

flat tummy lollipops pricing

Flat Tummy pops are available on their site along with a few other products, and a bag of 30 pops in four flavors sells for $49.00 (although the site is currently showing that they’re sold out). The 30-count bag is also available on Amazon for $36, lowering the cost to $1.20 per pop. Additionally, GNC stores carry a 15-pack for $19.99, presumably both on their site and in-store.

Some customers have issues with the cost, considering the lollipops are “just candy.” Sure, they’re not the cheapest thing on the market, but if there’s a chance they will suppress your appetite even somewhat (and there’s a good chance of that), then not only will you feel like you’re eating candy, you may find that you save money when you stop buying other snacks!

 Conclusion

While they may not be a fix-all for sweets cravings and weight loss, undoubtedly, Flat Tummy Lollipops are certainly worth a try. You might just find that not only are you snacking less, but your waist may be shrinking a little. Just be sure to follow a healthy eating plan and don’t rely solely on the lollipops to be anything but a supplement.
