Sakara Metabolism Super Powder Review

When most people hear the term ‘metabolism,’ they immediately think about their ability to lose, gain, or maintain their weight. While they’re not wrong, there’s actually a lot more to the term ‘metabolism,’ and most people don’t have the full picture.

Furthermore, most people are under the impression that their metabolism is something they’re born with and stuck with. In reality, your metabolism changes throughout the day and is dependent upon a wide range of factors, including age, gender, amount of muscle, amount of fat, hormone function, and physical activity.

While there are many ways to increase or decrease your metabolism, most of them require you to make daily changes to your lifestyle, and that’s not something many people are interested in. Even the supplements, which are easy to add to your daily life, aren’t guaranteed to work.

Today, we’re going to take a look at one of those supplements — Sakara Metabolism Super Powder. We’ll discuss what it is, how it works, what the ingredients are, and whether or not it’s the right metabolism supplement for you in this review of Sakara Metabolism Super Powder.

What Is Sakara Metabolism Super Powder?

Metabolism Super Powder is a metabolism supplement brought to you by Sakara. The company is well-known for their meal programs, but they’ve also found success with healthy chocolates, bars, snacks, powders, and supplements.

This powdered supplement is designed to prevent your metabolism from slowing down due to age, diet, or stress. It’s easy to use, contains a variety of key ingredients that provide the body with a range of benefits, and has a delicious chocolate flavor to it, so you don’t get sick of it.

With the ability to purchase this supplement in individual packets and in larger bags, it’s perfect for taking on-the-go or storing at home for your daily smoothie. Even better, it makes the perfect combination with the rest of their supplements and meal programs.

They take a health-first approach that many consumers will appreciate. Of course, those that truly want to understand the power behind this supplement are going to have to take a much deeper dive into what this supplement is and how it works.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

What Is Metabolism And Why Is It Important?

The term metabolism is more of an umbrella term that refers to any chemical process in the body that requires energy. These processes are generally grouped into one of two categories — anabolism and catabolism.

Let’s take a closer look at both of these:

  • Anabolism – also known as constructive metabolism, this is the process of using energy to build complex molecules from simpler ones.
  • Catabolism – also known as destructive metabolism, this is the process of breaking down larger molecules into smaller molecules to be used as energy.

While metabolism is linked to weight, it’s more of a byproduct of metabolism than anything. Instead, metabolism has to do more with energy inside the body and how well the body uses that energy.

When most people think of ‘metabolism,’ they expect it to be the rate at which we burn calories. While it’s certainly an aspect of metabolism, they’re actually thinking of ‘basal metabolic rate (BMR). This is the rate at which we use energy (burn calories) while resting.

The higher your BMR, the quicker you burn energy without actually needing to. The lower your BMR, the longer it takes to burn those calories. That’s why people with a low BMR are prone to gaining weight if they’re not active enough. Sometimes, even being active won’t help.

In fact, BMR and metabolism, in general, are known to slow as we grow older, which is another cause for concern to those already living with a slow metabolism.

How Do You Know if your Metabolism Is Slowing?

A slow metabolism does much more to your body than increase your chances of gaining weight. In fact, it can have dire effects on your body that eventually result in further damage, discomfort, or concern.

Here are some of the most common signs of a slow metabolism, outside of weight gain:

  • Fatigue – since metabolism is directly linked to the breakdown, release, use, and storage of energy, ongoing fatigue can be a result of a slow metabolism.
  • Headaches – a slow metabolism is often linked to an underactive thyroid gland, which is why headaches are common among people with slow metabolisms.
  • Depression – there are a lot of stressors in life that can slow down your metabolism, and depression is one of them.
  • Weak Hair, Nails, Skin – this is normally due to the underactive thyroid glands associated with a slow metabolism.
  • Constipation – since the body requires more time to process food with a slow metabolism, it’s common to experience constipation often.

If these symptoms are common in your life, then you could be living with a slow metabolism. In the event you want to be sure of it, you can actually get this tested with your doctor or at a medical facility.

For those that do have a slow metabolism, it’s not the end of the world. There’s plenty you can do to increase your body’s metabolic rate, and Metabolism Super Powder will certainly help.

The Best Way To Use Sakara Metabolism Super Powder

Adding Metabolism Super Powder to your daily routine is extremely easy and actually adds some amazing flavor to your morning. For the best results, you should take this supplement for at least two weeks, but it’s safe to take for as long as you need or want.

When purchasing the individual packets, all you need to do is add the contents of one packet to your favorite drink, beverage, or smoothie. There is a chocolate flavor, so keep that in mind when mixing it with other flavors.

It’s great in coffee, perfect for other hot beverages, and definitely a good addition to your smoothie to give it a chocolate flavor with plenty of benefits. It can also be mixed with regular old H2O for easy, on-the-go benefits.

Sakara’s favorite recipe to use this in is combining fresh-brewed coffee, almond milk, coconut butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, coconut sugar, and Metabolism Super Powder in a blender. Blend for 30 seconds and voila!

Claims vs. Reality

Near the beginning of this review, we discussed the various claims that were made by Sakara about Metabolism Super Powder. Those claims mean much more now than they did before, especially since we know exactly what this supplement contains.

It’s clear that this supplement is designed to boost your metabolism, and there are certainly ingredients that support that, but they are also missing some key ingredients that would’ve been nice in this supplement.

I like the combination of L-Glutamine, Gymnema Sylvestre, Piperine, and Fucoxanthin, but it would’ve been nice to see some more vitamins and minerals in there. Vitamin D, Vitamin B Complex, Selenium, Chromium, and Zinc are some of the most popular.

They do, however, use the right amounts of the ingredients they chose to use, which is good. It’s a safe supplement and should help boost your metabolism. Part of me feels like it could be stronger, though.

It could also do more to relieve stress and improve sleep, which would help your metabolism as well.

Sakara Metabolism Super Powder Alternatives

The world of supplements is growing every single day, and it can be difficult for the average consumer to keep up. By the time you’re ready to start searching for a metabolism supplement that fits your needs, you’re met with hundreds of different brands that all claim to do the same thing.

To make your life a little easier, I’m going to showcase one of our favorite alternatives to Sakara Metabolism Super Powder. It’ll help improve your metabolism, burn that fat, and look your best at all times.

Performance Lab Burn

Performance Lab Burn is one of the many supplements offered by this company. They’re one of my favorite brands for any type of supplement and produce a wide range of stackable formulas. Their Burn formula is one of the best fat-burners and metabolism supplements on the market today.

It contains BioPerine, which is found in Super Powder, but that’s the only comparison. It also contains Forskolin, Cayenne Pepper, HMB, and Chromium. Better yet, it’s free of caffeine and other stimulants, which act to increase your metabolism.

Each bottle of Performance Lab Burn costs $50. It comes in capsule form, making it much easier to use and more portable. You do, however, need to take two capsules per serving. With 60 capsules in a bottle, the $50 investment would last you one month — cheaper than Super Powder.

Final Verdict: Sakara Metabolism Super Powder

The metabolism is either your best friend or worst enemy, but there are plenty of things you can do to improve it daily. Unfortunately, most people aren’t willing to do what’s necessary when increasing their metabolism, leaving them feeling stuck.

Supplements like Sakara’s Metabolism Super Powder are designed to help increase your metabolism without needing to change your lifestyle. While there are plenty of brands out there that claim to do the same, Sakara has a pretty good formula compared to the rest.

It is a little expensive and costs nearly $3 per day — minimum. If you don’t feel like paying that much, there are certainly other brands out there that can give you similar results for less of an investment.

Either way, this is safe to use and will help your metabolism act more like a friend — opposed to an enemy.
