Primal Total Cleanse Review

Cleansing and detoxifying diets are trendy right now. And with that comes many so-called cleansing supplements that claim to assist this process and boost your health.

But with my background in holistic health, I know that not all of these products are actually legitimate. So, it’s essential to know that what you’re getting is actually safe to use and beneficial.

If you are interested in getting started with detoxification or cleansing, you’ll want to continue reading this Primal Total Cleanse review. I’ll give you an inside look at this supplement’s features, ingredients, possible benefits, safety, and much more.

About Primal Total Cleanse

Primal Total Cleanse is advertised as a natural detox supplement. It is made by Primal Harvest, a pretty popular company with many other products.

Other Primal Products Include:

The Primal Total Cleanse formula is made up of 19 naturally detoxifying ingredients, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus probiotic, aloe vera leaf, fennel seed, acai berry, and cascara sagrada.

All of the ingredients in Primal Total Cleanse are designed to work synergistically to promote a powerful, yet gentle cleansing effect on the body, helping to eliminate waste and toxins.

And there’s no gross-tasting or weird-looking shake that you need to drink either; just two capsules per day with water is all it takes.

Plus, Primal Total Cleanse is designed to work better over time, so you may get more and more benefits as you go.

Primal Total Cleanse Benefits

Primal Total Cleanse is advertised to give you the following health benefits when taken regularly:

  • Enhanced Digestion
  • Healthy Elimination and Detoxification
  • Supports Regularity and Bowel Health
  • Healthier Skin

Enhanced Digestion

One of the most common complaints for people is indigestion. This is usually the result of poor gut health and enzyme function, which can cause bloating, upset stomach, and other issues.

Primal Total Cleanse claims to remove these symptoms and enhance digestion, mainly by including a probiotic called Lactobacillus acidophilus.

Other ingredients in the Primal Total Cleanse formula, such as ginger root, may support the breakdown and digestion of food, leaving you feeling less bloated and more at ease after meals.

Healthy Elimination and Detoxification

It’s no secret that the modern world has many added toxins that used to not exist. This includes pesticides, plastics, heavy metals, chemicals, and other toxins that can wreak havoc on the body if they’re not removed.

And one of the main claims of Primal Total Cleanse is that it enhances elimination and detoxification in the body.

Primal Total Cleanse uses numerous ingredients designed to help the colon flush out waste and cleanse the body, such as fennel seed, senna leaf, aloe vera leaf, and bentonite clay. In turn, you may not only feel lighter, but much healthier.

Supports Regularity and Bowel Health

Constipation is one of those things that’s not often talked about, but it obviously affects many people and can be very uncomfortable. But you need to get to the root cause of it, which is often from poor digestive tract function.

That’s why Primal Total Cleanse uses many ingredients to possibly ease constipation and promote regular bowel movements. These include herbal laxatives, such as senna leaf, as well as various fiber sources, including oat bran and flax seed.

Healthier Skin

Toxins can certainly affect your skin health. And part of this has to do with the connection between the gut, immune system, and skin. When your health is compromised in your gut, your immune system can be affected, which may ultimately cause skin problems too, such as redness, acne, or dry skin.

Primal Total Cleanse is advertised to promote better skin in two main ways. First, they say that probiotics and other gut-supportive ingredients will help you reclaim gut health, which in turn may lead to better skin.

And second, this formula includes natural antioxidants, such as acai berry, to calm inflammation and repair skin damage.

So, is Primal Total Cleanse truly a superstar detoxifier? Or is it just a sham?

Read on to find out!

Below, I will give you an overview of some of the main ingredients to give you a general idea of what this formula includes.

Lactobacillus Acidophilus

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a type of good bacteria (or probiotic), so it helps restore health to the gut microbiome. There is evidence that Lactobacillus acidophilus improves general gut health, improves immunity, and reduces diarrhea.

Oat Bran Fiber and Flax Seed Powder

Oat bran and flax seeds are both great sources of fiber. This helps feed the good bacteria in the gut and also promotes regularity.

Plus, flaxseeds contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory omega-3s.

Senna Leaf Powder, Aloe Vera Leaf Powder, & Cascara Sagrada Bark Powder

Research has shown that senna leaf, aloe vera leaf and cascara sagrada act as laxatives and may reduce constipation, improving gut health too.

Plus, senna leaf and aloe vera leaf seem to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-infection effects.

Bentonite Clay Powder

Bentonite clay is a very unique substance with many possible benefits. There is quite a bit of evidence showing that bentonite clay can assist in the removal and excretion of toxins from the body, such as various chemicals and heavy metals.

It also assists liver and kidney function, and seems to have benefits for gut health by improving the gut bacteria content.

Acai Berry Fruit Extract

Acai berries are rich in polyphenols and offer powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. They may also improve immunity and reduce inflammation.

Ginger Root Powder

Ginger root consists of gingerols and many other healthy bioactive compounds. It has been shown to reduce nausea and vomiting. And ginger root also improves overall digestive function and reduces inflammation.

Does Primal Total Cleanse Work?

It seems likely that Primal Total Cleanse works as a cleanser and detoxifier.

There are many well-researched ingredients in Primal Total Cleanse. And these seem to be effective for gut health, digestion, inflammation, detoxification, and cleansing.

primal total cleanse supplement

But I don’t like that Primal Total Cleanse has all of the ingredients in a proprietary blend. It would be much better if they listed out the doses of each individual ingredient.

Even still, this formula is backed by research and generally proven to help with the claimed benefits.

But people who want a higher-dosed option may want to go with something like Detox Organics

Claims vs. Reality

Given that the ingredients are in a proprietary blend, it’s hard to tell what specific benefits you’ll get.

But in general, Primal Total Cleanse should support many aspects of health. Taking this product may lead to smoother digestion, easier elimination, and better gut health in general.

Plus, Primal Total Cleanse has many ingredients that may support detoxification and the removal of harmful substances from your body.

Lastly, you may experience a decrease in inflammation and oxidative stress, given that there are antioxidant compounds in this product.

These benefits will likely take time to develop, though. It is likely best to take Primal Total Cleanse for at least one month because it takes time for the ingredients to reach their full effectiveness and work on all areas of the body.

Who is Primal Total Cleanse Best For?

Primal Total Cleanse is best for people who want to gently and naturally support cleansing and detoxification, as well as gut health and immunity.

You may want to try Primal Total Cleanse if you have digestive problems, poor gut health, skin issues, lower immunity, or general symptoms of toxic buildups, such as:

  • Fatigue
  • Joint Pain
  • Headaches
  • Tinnitus
  • Lowered Libido

Is Primal Total Cleanse Safe?

One of the first things I need to mention is that cascara sagrada and some other ingredients have been associated with liver issues when consumed in excessive amounts.

It’s unclear how much cascara sagrada (or any other ingredient) is in this product since they use a proprietary blend, but it doesn’t seem to be too high, given the total weight is only 900mg.

Other possible side effects of Primal Total Cleanse include:

  • Upset stomach, bloating, nausea, etc.
  • Headache
  • Allergic reactions
  • Others (check with your doctor before taking any supplement)

Also, Primal Total Cleanse is made in the USA in a GMP-certified, FDA-approved facility. It is also independently third-party lab-tested in the USA.

It is free from eggs, gluten, soy, and dairy, but it does contain gelatin. And it is manufactured in a facility that processes wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy.

How to Take Primal Total Cleanse

Primal Total Cleanse comes in capsule form.

The recommended dose is two capsules daily. Primal Harvest recommends taking the capsules with eight ounces of water.

Also, it is best to take Primal Total Cleanse for at least one month (if tolerated) before judging product effectiveness.

Where to Buy Primal Total Cleanse

There are 30 servings (60 capsules) per bottle.

Below are all of the prices for Primal Total Cleanse:

This is a pretty low-priced product, especially for the multi-buy and subscription options. You really won’t see a product like this ever priced much lower than these. Granted, other options may have fully transparent labels and higher dosages, but this is still a good value overall.

Comparing Primal Total Cleanse to Other Detox Supps

There are many other cleanse or detox supplements out there, such as DetoxOne and Flor-Essence. So, let’s see how these compare to Primal Total Cleanse.

DetoxOne

DetoxOne is designed to flush out toxins, reduce bloating, and promote weight loss. It contains many similar ingredients as Primal Total Cleanse, such as burdock, cascara sagrada, aloe vera, and senna. But it has different ones too, such as slippery elm, peppermint, and psyllium.

Also, you just need to take two capsules per day. DetoxOne costs $39.99 for 30 servings at their regular price.

Flor-Essence

Flor-Essence is an herbal supplement designed to gently cleanse the body. Other proposed benefits are better sleep, improved energy, and enhanced digestion.

This is a liquid formula that contains aqueous extracts of watercress, rhubarb, burdock, red clover, and other herbs.

But this is considerably more expensive. Flor-Essence costs $39.99 for only 8 servings.

Verdict: Primal Total Cleanse Review

That’s the end of this Primal Total Cleanse review.

Now, before you choose to buy it, I just want to go over some important things again.

The ingredients in Primal Total Cleanse are well-researched and seem effective for detoxification, digestion, gut health, and inflammation.

But the use of a proprietary blend with a fairly low dosage overall really puts a dent in the overall product quality. Supplements should really be using fully transparent labels at this point.

With that said, I still think it’s worth trying out as a detoxification and cleansing supplement, particularly if you want to try something that’s affordable and still contains quality ingredients.
