Kate Hudson’s Diet
Summary
Hudson gained and subsequently lost 70 lbs. of baby weight by eating mostly vegan foods, but says she loves to eat and wasn’t interested in starving herself. Coffee notwithstanding, she follows a high-alkaline diet, meaning 60-80% of her calories comes from vegetables, fruit, nuts, and tofu. She mostly avoids meat, dairy and gluten. She also limits her intake of refined sugar. While she’s not a huge fan of breakfast, she tries to eat 5 smaller meals each day. She isn’t too strict with herself, however, and if she goes out to a restaurant, she’ll order whatever she wants. Hudson also makes a point to drink plenty of water, and recommends drinking at least half your body weight in ounces every day.
