Protein drinks are good—plant-based protein drinks are better. Plant-based protein is gaining tremendous momentum, with products like Flow Supplement Protein Plus and Orgain leading the charge. Not only do they appeal to broader markets (vegans and vegetarians included), they deliver cleaner, healthier nutrition. And if you can get complete protein from plants in a drink, plus all the minerals and nutrients from loads of greens, why not?

You’ve likely noticed energy differences when eating more greens, and certainly after workouts. If only you could sustain those levels throughout the day! This is precisely what Après set out to achieve. Their “replenishment” drinks help maintain energy levels from within. Let’s examine their products and philosophy. Keep reading our Apres review to discover if this enhanced protein drink suits your needs.

About Après

Since 2016, Après has crafted plant-based drinks designed to recreate that post-exercise endorphin “high” athletes crave. The creators wanted to design a replenishment drink that nourishes through hydration and balanced nutrition, using premium ingredients.

Apres-Review

Designed as a snack drink rather than meal replacement, Après works perfectly for quick breakfasts, between-meal energy boosts, or post-workout recovery.

Après Benefits

Après delivers clean energy and balanced nutrition. The combination of plant protein and healthy coconut fats provides satiety and sustained energy throughout your day. The fiber in the plant protein blend supports digestion, while the formula maintains impressively low sugar content.

Apres Benefits

Consider Apres an enhanced protein drink. Beyond the expected 14 grams of protein, it offers several additional advantages.

The formula contains MCTs (medium chain triglycerides)—healthy fats that promote sustained energy release. Apres also incorporates electrolytes from coconut water for optimal hydration. This formulation transforms Apres from a simple protein shake into an energy-supporting, hydration-boosting beverage.

Let’s examine the ingredients more closely.

Après Ingredients

The first ingredients listed are filtered water and coconut water—an excellent start. Next comes the plant protein blend, featuring organic chia, pea, hemp, and cacao. Impressive quality. Following the inevitable “natural flavors” (which can encompass virtually anything), you’ll find coconut oil, coconut sugar, and sunflower lecithin. Superior to soy lecithin, sunflower supports skin, nervous system, brain, and cardiovascular health—essentially your entire body.

Fortunately, the company clarifies that their “natural flavors” consist entirely of plant extracts—a blend creating each drink’s unique flavor profile. Even these ambiguous ingredients remain plant-based! Well done, Après.

An electrolyte blend of potassium phosphate and sea salt follows, explaining the elevated sodium and potassium levels. Beyond coconut sugar, Après utilizes monk fruit—among the healthiest sweeteners available—and Madagascar vanilla. Each variety features specific flavorings: chocolate contains cocoa powder, chai includes cinnamon, and so forth.

Finally, there’s gellan gum, a plant-based thickener that’s vegan-approved. All ingredients are vegan, non-GMO, dairy-free, and kosher, with most being organic. Like many protein products, such as Ghost Whey Protein, Après is also soy-free and gluten-free. Overall, Après delivers comprehensive, healthy nutrition: MCTs from coconut oil (4g), hydration and electrolytes from coconut water, salt, and potassium (6g), plus balanced amino acids from plant proteins (14g).

Does Après Work?

Après reviews are overwhelmingly positive, earning 4.0 stars on their site with 99% of users recommending the product. While most customers emphasize taste over effectiveness, many report that it sustains them through workdays or serves as an excellent breakfast replacement, particularly during intermittent fasting. Numerous users confirm the drink promotes satiety and curbs hunger until the next meal. At 180 calories or less per 11-oz. serving, this alone suggests Après succeeds.

Apres contains well-researched ingredients that should deliver intended results. You’ll receive substantial protein from plant sources, clean energy from MCTs, and effective hydration from the electrolyte blend. Overall, Apres undoubtedly works as designed.

Who is It Best for?

Après suits virtually anyone, but targets those with demanding lifestyles who need quick nutrition and sustained post-workout energy. Given its protein and health benefits, Après could benefit busy teens and kids (who might even enjoy the flavors!). If they don’t scrutinize too closely, they might never realize it’s healthy. Since Après is vegan and free from gluten, dairy, and soy, it accommodates nearly everyone!

Safety and Side Effects

Beyond typical food allergies in certain individuals, Après should be generally safe given its clean ingredient profile. The cold brew coffee variety contains caffeine, worth noting. However, unless you’re allergic to coconut or other ingredients like hemp, you shouldn’t experience issues from consuming Après.

Clinical Studies

Après doesn’t reference clinical studies on their site; however, the ingredients, benefits, and effects are straightforward. It’s established knowledge that coconut ingredients promote health, plant proteins are clean, and electrolytes are essential. The company makes no outrageous claims beyond providing people with healthy vitality.

Where to Buy Apres

Après offers four flavors: mint cacao, sea salt chocolate, vanilla, and cold brew coffee. All varieties are available through the company’s official website.

Buy-Apres-Drinks

Orders come in 6, 12, or 24-packs. Naturally, larger orders cost less per bottle. A 24-pack costs $3.65 per bottle versus $3.70 per bottle for the 12-pack. Subscriptions save an additional 10%.

You can order a variety pack featuring each flavor, perfect for testing all options before committing. The company occasionally offers a 4-pack trial for $19.95, and you can receive $5 off your first order by signing up for text alerts.

Some customers aren’t thrilled with the pricing, though it’s not unreasonable. It depends on your priorities. Daily Après consumption can become expensive quickly. At $80-$90 for a 24-pack lasting less than a month, you might consider spacing consumption. However, that’s still cheaper than daily large lattes!

Beyond the website and Amazon, Après is only available through small partner retailers like yoga studios and spas. Check their website for local retailers if you’d prefer trying it first.

Conclusion

Après’ advantages significantly outweigh the drawbacks, with cost being the primary concern. If Après replaces some meals, however, it could balance out or prove less expensive overall (not to mention healthier!). Like everything, it’s relative. Given the clean, plant-based ingredients and satisfying properties Après offers, it’s likely worth the investment.
