Thurman is tall which always helps, but she still takes special care with her diet. She eats a lot of organic, nutrient-dense foods. Thurman’s martial arts training included 3 styles of kung fu, 2 sword-fighting styles, knife throwing, knife fighting, and hand-to-hand combat. Also challenging albeit not physically: learning to speak Japanese.
Thurman enjoys Pilates and will have her trainer come to the set if she’s pressed for time. Pilates builds strength, flexibility, and energy.
Thurman says she was slow to warm up to yoga, but she now likes it very much.
