Quadralean-Review

A lot of people have a lot of trouble burning fat. Whether it’s because they have a poor diet, do not get enough exercise, or some other medical issue, a lot of people just can’t find a way to get rid of unsightly belly fat.

So there are a lot of fat burner products out there that promise they can melt away those last few stubborn pounds. The one problem is a lot of these fat-burners contain a ton of stimulants which can be bad for your overall health.

Quadralean is a fat burning supplement that claims it can help get rid of that stubborn fat. Best of all, Quadralean claims that it is stimulant-free and so not subject to the negative effects that too many high doses of stimulants can cause.

So today we are going to take a look at Quadralean and answer some important questions about its pros, cons, ingredients, cost, and where to buy it. Does Quadralean measure up to other fat burners, like Slimvance or Skald? We will give our judgment of whether it’s worth buying.

Quadralean: Overview

Quadralean is a fat burning supplement designed to help you burn fat while preserving lean muscle. Quadralean is created from 4 key ingredients and claims it can help with:

  • Weight management
  • Maintain lean muscle
  • Minimizing fat storage
  • Promoting antioxidant support

These are all pretty standard claims for a fat burning supplement. Quadralean claims it is a safe, effective, and stimulant-free weight management solution. Quadralean says it is a “thermogenic” fat burning supplement, which means that it burns fat by boosting metabolism and increasing the body’s temperature.

One problem with a lot of weight loss supplements is that they carry a whole bunch of stimulants which can cause severe hydration. Quadralean claims it is stimulant-free which, if true, gives it an advantage over other weight loss supplements.

Each bottle of Quadralean contains 150 capsules, enough for 50 servings. The instructions say to take 3 capsules every day in the morning and before workouts.

Advantages

  • May help lose weight
  • Fairly affordable
  • Claims to minimize fat storage
  • Boosts energy

Disadvantages

  • Is not actually stimulant-free
  • Some ingredients have known side effects

Who Makes Quadralean?

Quadralean is made by RSP, a fitness supplement company founded by athletes. RSP was founded in 2008 by former college athlete Victor Davanzo. Davanzo was inspired to found RSP as a way to produce healthy natural products designed for athletes of all stripes. RSP offers a wide range of workout products ranging from Quadralean to protein powders and snack bars. RSP prides itself on creating natural nutritional products.

Unfortunately, we could not find a BBB page for RSP and there are no product reviews on the official website. None of the other products seem to have similar reviews either, which looks a bit suspicious to us. The fact that we can’t find a BBB page is the worst part. Com[any’s normally have a vested interest in reaching out to consumers so we are surprised they don’t have one, despite being in business for over 10 years.

How Does Quadralean Work?

There are no product reviews on the official website so we turned to Amazon. Amazon has mostly positive reviews for Quadralean, though about 10% of them are 1 star. The most negative reviews claim that Quadralean did not work and cause a number of issues including diarrhea and upset stomach. However, the majority of reviews are very positive and claim that Quadralean helped them build muscle, lose fat, and keep high energy.

We have a few problems though. First off, Quadralean advertises itself as stimulant-free, but it actually has some stimulants. It contains green tea extract, which contains caffeine, which is a stimulant. So don’t be fooled by false advertising; Quadralean has stimulants in it.

Quadralean Ingredients

Quadralean contains 4 key ingredients

  • CLA
  • Acetyl L-carnitine
  • Green tea extract
  • Paradoxine

CLA stands for conjugated linoleic acid, acids mostly found in dairy products. CLA is a common ingredient in weight loss supplements and many people claim it can also help with the immune system. We found a few studies showing that CLA may help a small bit with fat loss but also studies showing it may be linked to insulin resistance and atherosclerosis (hardened arteries).

Acetyl L-carnitine is used to treat a number of mental disorders such as Alzheimer’s and depression. It can be found in many fat burners, such as Animal Cuts. Carnitine is often used in workout supplements but there is little to no evidence that it actually boosts exercise performance.

Green tea extract is a stimulant that has been shown to be an effective weight loss agent. Green tea extract also has the function of suppressing the appetite. It is still a stimulant though and is associated with common stimulant side effects.

It’s important to note that the formula isn’t vegetarian compared to these best vegetarian fat burners.

Paradoxine is the brand name for Grains of Paradise. Grains of Paradise are used in all kinds of workout and health supplements. However, there is little evidence that it is actually effective for those uses.

Safety and Side Effects

We found a few noted side effects of Quadralean. The most common side effects were:

  • Upset stomach
  • Diarrhea
  • Jitters
  • Fast heart rate

These are pretty common symptoms of weight loss pills and also common side effects of stimulants. It is pretty shady that Quadralean claims it is stimulant-free but then has known stimulant clear as day on its ingredient list.

NOTE: We currently recommend Skald over Quadralean. Here’s why

Where to Buy Quadralean and Cost

You can buy Quadralean directly from the manufacturer’s website or you can buy it from a third-party online retailer like Amazon. A 150-capsule bottle of Quadralean costs $25.

Quadralean: Should You Buy It?

We lean towards no, you should not buy it. Quadralean claims it is stimulant-free but it’s actually not and there is little evidence that many of the products can significantly help with weight loss as it claims. The only ingredient that has been tested for its weight loss potential is a stimulant and another might have bad side effects. We recommend that you pass on this one.
