From South London, England, Naomi Campbell spend several years as a young child in Rome, Italy where her mother was a dancer. At age 3, she attended stage school and at 10 was accepted into a theatre arts schoolwhere she studied ballet. Campbell always intended to be a dancer, but was discovered while out shopping at age 15. Her career quickly took off and she appeared on the cover of British Elle magazine before her 16th birthday. Campbell was one of the most popular models from the late 1980s to the early 2000s and was named 1 of the 6 original ‘Supermodels.’ She has had a varied career. Besides modeling, Campbell has recorded an R&B music album and appeared on tv and film. She is also an activist and supports several charities including the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. She has millions of followers on social media. Campbell is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 130 lbs.

At age 50, Campbell defines agelessness. Although she says she never set out to be a vegetarian, she currently follows a plant-based diet and feels all the better for it. Her day starts early, 5 am, but she is not a coffee drinker. She’ll have hot water and lemon, and might have green tea if she feels she needs a pick-me-up but otherwise sticks with herbal tea. She chooses healthy foods, avoids sugar, drinks plenty of water, and is a big fan of green juice.

Campbell is committed to charitable giving. She organized Fashion for Relief to help with Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and which also provided relief for the earthquake in Haiti, and the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. The foundation also donates to protect children and endangered animals.
