Minka Kelly is the daughter of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay. She was born in LA but moved around with her mother, eventually settling in New Mexico. After graduating from high school, Kelly returned to LA where she worked as a surgeon’s assistant while trying to break into show biz. She found small roles in shows like Entourage and American Dreams before being cast in Friday Night Lights in 2006. Kelly has gone on to appear in other series, films and on stage, including a DC Universe show, Titans. She was named Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine. She is a brand ambassador for diet Coke. Minka Kelly’s Diet
Kelly is an avid cook, baker and eater. She loves food so much, she went to cooking school and graduated in 2015. She doesn’t believe in depriving herself because she says that leads to cravings which will derail a diet. Instead, she eats everything in moderation. Her one diet rule is to not eat starch with protein. So things like bread, rice, potatoes and the like can be eaten with veggies or protein, but not all three at once. She also opts for whole, natural foods over processed or junk food, and she always drinks plenty of water.

Kelly’s go-to breakfast is a protein shake. But she doesn’t only drink smoothies. Sometimes she’ll have avocado toast instead.

Even if Kelly doesn’t do a formal workout, she makes a point of breaking a sweat every single day.
