It’s a little disappointing that they don’t include prebiotics with the probiotics. It would make this complete meal so much better and allow the probiotics to work at maximum capacity. While it’s a bummer, it’s not a deal-breaker because probiotics are the real gem here — prebiotics are more of a luxury. If you are looking to add in a prebiotic as well, though, some choices worth considering include PrebioThrive, Dr. Tobias Prebiotics, and Performance Lab Prebiotic.

HLTH Code markets itself as a complete meal supplement because each serving provides all the nutrients you would typically need to get in a regular meal. While that doesn’t mean you should use it as a replacement, HLTH Code does stick true to its intentions. 

Not only do they supply you with 50% of the recommended daily amount of 25 different vitamins and minerals, but they also supply your body with probiotics, digestive enzymes, healthy fats, protein, and much more. That’s a lot of goodies all in one formula. 

The probiotics and digestive enzymes will make it much easier to digest, which should limit the upset stomach that some people feel when consuming nutritional shakes. While the Creamy Vanilla flavor gives you a classic taste, the Chocolate Macadamia has a unique kick to it. 

At the same time, the price point is a bit too steep for some customers. They’re certainly going to lose a bit of business there, but at least it won’t have anything to do with the formula, which is most important in a supplement. Overall, a good supplement, but a bit expensive.

For example, Huel contains 27 different vitamins and minerals, as opposed to the 25 found in HLTH Code. The two extra that are in Huel are Chloride and Choline. Don’t worry; Huel also has MCTs, omega-3s, omega-6s, probiotics, prebiotics, lutein, zeaxanthin, and BCAAs (amino acids).

In each serving of Huel Powder v3.0, you’ll get 400 calories, 38g carbs, 29g protein, 13g fat, 7g fiber, and 20-40% the recommended daily amount of each vitamin and mineral. Compared to HLTH Code, that’s the same amount of calories, less fat, more protein, and plenty more carbs.

Gainful adds a personal touch to what HLTH Code and Huel are doing. After taking a brief quiz on their official website, they’ll know a little more about each individual’s needs and goals. This allows their experts to personalize a formula for each specific individual. 

They use a wide range of ingredients in their personalized nutritional shake. As far as protein goes, they choose between a range of animal-based and plant-based proteins. They also include maltodextrin, dextrose, green tea extract, stevia leaf extract, and BCAAs to the mix.

There’s so much to like about HLTH Code. It has just about every essential vitamin and mineral you need and contains about 50% of the daily recommended amount of each. The blends of healthy fats, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and protein only add to the wonderful nature of this formula. 

Of course, the price is what’ll drive you away, especially if you’re on a budget. You have to keep in mind that this isn’t replacing any of your meals, so you’ll still need to eat a normal diet. HLTH Code should be taken in addition to your diet, which means it’s an added cost to your monthly grocery list. 

The good news is there are some cheaper options out there that are just as good. If you want something a little more personalized, you can easily turn to Gainful for that daily nutritional shake.
