Mellencamp began riding horses at age 4 and was a nationally-ranked equestrian as a teen. At age 17, she moved to LA and worked in a mailroom and as a restaurant hostess while trying to kickstart an acting career. She joined the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2017. She managed to lose some weight by adding exercise back into her life, but she lost a lot more by making dietary changes.
