Jeon Jung-kook is from South Korea. In 2011, he auditioned for the talent show Superstar K and was offered jobs by several entertainment companies, and ended up choosing Big Hit. After a brief stint in LA in 2012 to work on his dance moves, Jungkook returned to Korea and joined the K-pop band BTS in 2013. He graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul in 2017, and he holds a college degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment from Global Cyber University. Besides taking the lead on several BTS hits, Jungkook has also released songs on his own, and he is the first South Korean solo artist to have 2 consecutive top-5 songs on the UK Singles Chart. Jungkook is a global ambassador for Calvin Klein. His philanthropy includes a donation of almost $1 million to Seoul National Children’s Hospital. Jungkook has millions of followers on social media. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 155 lbs.

Jungkook’s ripped abs belie his ability to gain weight. This is not helped by the fact that he loves carbs. To counter this issue, he does intermittent fasting, sometimes fasting for 20 hours a day. He admits that he does this because he feels self-conscious about appearing in shirtless photos. What he eats during his 4-hour window are Korean classics like kimchi, bulgogi, and spring rolls. His idea of a snack is vegetable soup. He supplements with kombucha powder for its health benefits.
