Idris Elba’s Diet

Summary

Elba says in his youth, he struggled to gain weight, but now that he’s older he finds that is no longer a problem, and he takes care not to gain more than a few pounds at a time. To get in shape for his kickboxing documentary, Elba cut all the simple carbs out of his diet including pasta, rice and beer, but his doctor told him to add some back in for health reasons. He does his best to stick to a healthy diet that includes plenty of protein to build muscle, healthy fats and sufficient carbs, and of course plenty of water to stay hydrated.
