Enhanced Athlete Slin Review

The team of bodybuilders, chemists, and innovators at Enhanced Athlete want you to have what they’ve set out to achieve for themselves: The ideal supplements for bodybuilders and other high-performance athletes.

This includes Slin, which is their answer to your need to fuel muscles without storing any of that fuel as fat.

Does it work? Let’s find out in this complete review of Enhanced Athlete Slin!

Enhanced Slin

About Enhanced Athlete Slin

Slin is a dietary supplement made and produced by well-known supplement company, Enhanced Athlete. Enhanced Athlete has produced a variety of popular supplements including Code Red, Sleep Juice, Arachidonic Acid, and of course – Slin.

Slin combines a variety of plant compounds and minerals in a supplement designed to improve the insulin sensitivity of your muscles. This in turn ensures that carbs go straight to work fueling muscles rather than being converted to fat.

That’s because even though insulin is the hormone responsible for delivering glucose (carb fuel) to muscles for energy, it’s also responsible for generating new fat cells. Insulin resistance is also what causes more carbs to be converted to fat, though insulin sensitivity means more carbs are being lit up directly as fuel.

With Slin, you get the benefits of insulin sensitivity to power your workouts by turning carbs into energy, which leaves you lean and ripped, even with plenty of carbs to fuel you.

Enhanced Athlete Slin Benefits

Boosts Muscle Insulin Sensitivity

The more insulin sensitivity your muscles have, the less food energy gets stored as fat. Insulin is, after all, what shuttles food energy to where it needs to go, be it to your muscles to power your workout, or converted to fat to be stored.

The ingredients in Slin are all uniquely formulated to increase your insulin sensitivity and lower your blood sugar so that your muscles have nothing to burn but direct food energy, or stored fat.

Helps Maximize HGH Production

Enhanced also claims that used during the night to lower insulin levels, your body is able to maximize its HGH production as you sleep. That’s because insulin and HGH have an inverse effect and the less of one you have, the more of the other.

And of course, HGH is the stuff that repairs our muscles fast to help them grow big, and it also keeps us looking young, cool, calm, and confident.

Reduces Blood Sugar

Blood sugar is the enemy of anyone wanting to stay lean, since any extra in your blood that your body’s not using gets stored as fat.

But ingredients such as chromium and cinnamon extract are proven to help lower blood sugar, and other ingredients such as fenugreek help balance the hormones that help with fat burn and reduced blood sugar (hint: they’re called androgens).

Enhanced Athlete Slin Ingredients

Enhanced Athlete Slin includes a variety of ingredients. Below we will take a closer look at each ingredient, its dosage, and what it provides.

Slin Supplement Facts

Chromium 200 mcg

This essential mineral is known for its ability to lower blood sugar and reduce insulin resistance, which it does by helping insulin perform its functions in the body.

And as an added bonus, it’s also been proven to reduce appetite and cravings so that entire pie is able to last the night in the fridge, no problem.

Bitter Melon Extract 300 mg

Used for centuries in the treatment of insulin resistance, bitter melon now has science agreeing that its historic use is indeed effective. It contains isolated compounds such as charantin, insulin-like peptide, and alkaloid-like extracts that can successfully lower blood sugar so that whatever carbs you eat go straight to work powering your workout.

Berberine Hydrochloride 300 mg

This plant alkaloid has properties that include ramping up your AMP-active protein kinase (AMPK) levels, which is the enzyme that’s in control of your blood sugar’s on/off switch.

Since AMPK keeps a strict eye on blood sugar levels, it may help in the treatment of diabetes and high cholesterol. For you, it’ll work in the treatment of lighting up carbs in the gym.

Cinnamon Extract 200 mg

Want to improve your insulin sensitivity the tasty way? Dust on the cinnamon, that’s how!

And science agrees that yes, it can effectively improve insulin sensitivity along with many other benefits…great excuse to eat some cinnamon rolls before your workout, in fact.

Alpha Lipoic Acid 150 mg

It’s uniquely both water and oil soluble so that it’s present in nearly every cell of your body, where this organic compound does its part in tossing nutrients onto the energy pyre.

And, this also makes it yet another compound in Slin (God-awful name, by the way…) that can lower your blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity in your muscles.

Fenugreek Extract 150 mg

Another spice with positive effects on your blood sugar and inulin sensitivity is fenugreek, which is what gives some Indian dishes that sweet-ish, nutty flavor.

It also helps optimize your androgen production, which keeps insulin sensitivity high, and fat on the fire.

Kaempferol 150 mg

It’s easier to say than it is to spell, and this plant extract is also a potent antioxidant that can prevent cellular and DNA damage, as well as reducing low density lipoproteins in the blood (also known as “bad cholesterol). “

As an added bonus, there’s strong indication that it can help lower your risk for cancer and other diseases.

Myricetin 90 mg

Similar to kaempferol, this plant compound can also—surprise, surprise! —help lower your blood sugar so that any carbs you eat goes straight to work as fuel.

It’s also a potent antioxidant that can even improve blood glucose uptake independent of insulin.

Banaba Powder 90 mg

This tree native to Southeast Asia has been used for centuries in the treatment of diabetes.

While the plant contains many beneficial compounds to treat a variety of health conditions including diarrhea and pain management, it also contains corosolic acid, ellagitannins, and gallotannins, all of which help it lower blood sugar.

African Mango Extract 50 mg

The seeds of the African Mango are rich in fiber, minerals, amino acids, and good fats, all of which team up to help suppress your appetite, rev up your metabolism, and prevent fat buildup.

And, much like the other ingredients in this product, this lowers blood sugar and boosts insulin sensitivity so that carbs don’t just sit around becoming fat.

Fucoxanthin 8 mg

Fucoxanthin is not only a word that can get your mouth washed out with soap if you’re not careful saying it, it’s also a carotenoid that gives plants like kelp their brownish color.

It also tends to be stored in fat cells for long periods where it can inhibit fat cell proliferation.

This may be beneficial to diabetics and others seeking lower blood sugar levels since it can help correct abnormalities in glucose metabolism so that more is burned, and less is stored as fat.

Does Enhanced Athlete Slin Work?

Though Slin does show promise in helping reduce blood sugar and therefore stored bodyfat, you need to do your part too. This means sticking to a diet that takes it easy in the high-glycemic foods and focuses on healthy whole food proteins, fats, and complex carbohydrates.

In other words, hitting the gym and following it up with bon-bon eating sessions isn’t the formula for achieving great results. Instead, plenty of water, sleep, and nutrition is needed to compliment Slin, which also makes it so that a bon-bon or-two won’t hurt your goals (just not the entire boxful).

Who is Enhanced Athlete Slin Best For?

Whether you’re a gym rat looking to be as cut as possible, or anyone else hoping to lower their blood sugar, bodyfat, and inflammation, this product can benefit you. It’s mostly all-natural, though as with all their products we’ve taken a look at, the capsules are made up of some real crap that neither fits with what we would consider a “natural” product, nor Enhanced’s claims of “No Artificial Junk.”

In fact, to quote from their site, “There’s strong evidence that regularly consuming artificial sweeteners, food dyes, and other artificial chemicals commonly found in supplements can be harmful to your health.”

Really Enhanced? So why do we see capsules made up of titanium dioxide, FD&C blue #1, FD&C yellow #5, FD&C yellow #6, DiCalcium phosphate, silicone dioxide, and magnesium stearate?

So much for credibility!

Claims vs. Reality

While their claims of efficacy seem to line up with science, we do have a problem with their claims of “no artificial junk, food dyes, and other artificial chemicals” since that’s exactly what we’re seeing on their capsule ingredient label.

Come on Enhanced—you can do better!

Is Enhanced Athlete Slin Safe?

The product is mostly natural plant compounds and other beneficial ingredients, and so long as you’re not sensitive or allergic to any of Slin’s ingredients and you use it as directed, chances of negative side effects are minimal at best.

Plus, if the product doesn’t work for you in any way, simply take advantage of Enhanced’s generous, 100% 30-day guarantee and send it back.

Where to Buy Enhanced Athlete Slin

Though $34.99 will get you 30-servings of Slin, don’t confuse that with 30-days’ worth, since they recommend horsing down 2-capsules every 4-hours as part of a bulking stack; or 4-tablets before every meal as a cutting stack. That means that not only does Slin itself become rather expensive, but the other supplements Enhanced recommends stacking with also add to the cost.

Where to Buy Enhanced Slin

Along with Enhanced’s site, you can purchase Slin on Amazon, or from a select number of independent online retailers specializing in bodybuilding supplements such as BlackDiamondSupplements.com and Stack3d.com.
