Emily ‘Emrata’ Ratajkowski was born in London to American parents. She was raised in California and traveled a lot as a child, to Mallorca and Ireland in particular. Ratajkowski was signed by the Ford Modeling Agency at age 14. She did a year at UCLA but dropped out of college to pursue her career in modeling and acting. Her appearance in Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ music video catapulted her to fame and earned her supporting roles in the films such as Gone Girl and Entourage. Ratajkowski isn’t your stereotypical model who starves herself. She says she eats things that make her feel good, which includes coffee and pastries for breakfast. Lunch is usually light and healthier, such as salad or a sandwich, and she enjoys beet and turmeric juice which she says is ‘so LA.’ Dinner is usually centered around meat and she calls herself a carnivore. Ratajkowski says she is always very conscious of what she’s putting into her body, especially in the case of salt and sugar. She drinks a lot of water before going to bed.
