Becky G is the professional name of Rebecca Gomez. She is from California and 1 of 4 children. Her family had financial difficulties and when G was 9, she began doing commercials to help out. That same year, she decided she wanted to be a musician. At age 13, G taught herself to play the guitar. G was a spokeswoman for CoverGirl and has her own line of cosmetics called Tresluce. She is also creative director at Gonza swimwear and part owner of the women’s soccer team Angel City FC. G appeared on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for musicians. She has millions of followers on social media. G is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 105 lbs.

G went from being anti-gym to loving her workouts. She played soccer as a kid, and these days, she loves boxing, dancing, and riding her Peloton bike.

G says that for those who aren’t into formal exercise routines, try to sneak in some reps by doing curls while watching a video or leg lifts while skyping with a friend.
No Excuses
G says that when she travels, the one thing she always does is find a local gym. She also carries resistance bands so she can work out in her hotel room if necessary.
