Robin Wright was born in Texas. Her parents divorced when she was 2 and her mother moved the kids to San Diego. Wright began modeling when she was 14, and landed a role in the soap opera Santa Barbara when she was 18. Wright’s first film role was in 1986 with Hollywood Vice Squad, and her breakthrough came the following year with The Princess Bride. In 1994, she won a SAG award and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in Forrest Gump. Other acting credits include Message in a Bottle, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Blade Runner 2049. Wright also starred in and won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in House of Cards. She is one of the highest paid actresses in the US. Wright was married to Sean Penn and has 2 children with him. Charitable foundations she supports include Pour Les Femmes, the SunnyLion and The Gordie Foundation. She has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. Wright is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 130 lbs.
