Priyanka Chopra is from India. Her parents were both military physicians and the family moved around a lot. Chopra also lived in the US for a few years as a teen with an aunt, and moved several times while there, including to Massachusetts, Iowa, and New York. After returning to India for her final year of high school, she began entering beauty pageants, and won the Miss World 2000. This win led to offers of Bollywood film roles. Chopra later switched over to US tv and film, starting with Quantico in 2012. Other roles include the Baywatch film, Isn’t It Romantic, and We Can Be Heroes. Chopra has also recorded several singles and wrote a memoir. She has a haircare brand, a restaurant, and many endorsement deals. She invests in tech companies and real estate. Chopra also supports many charities. She is a brand ambassador for NDTV which supplies solar power to rural villages, works with UNICEF, and has a self-named charity that supports underprivileged children. She married pop star Nick Jonas in 2018 and they had a child via surrogate in 2022. Chopra has millions of followers on social media and is the most-followed Indian actor on Instagram. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 130 lbs.
