At 16, she debuted in the remake of Bush Christmas. The same year, she landed a supporting role on the tv series Five Mile Creek. Regular roles continued to come in and in the 1990s, she gained international recognition with Days of Thunder and Batman Forever. Kidman has won many awards, including an Oscar, a BAFTA, a SAG, 2 Primetime Emmys and 5 Golden Globes. She has been a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 1994. Time magazine named Kidman one of the Most Influential People in the World in 2004. She has a production company called Blossom Films. Kidman was married to Tom Cruise from 1990-2001 and adopted 2 children. She has been married to rocker Keith Urban since 2006 and they have 2 biological daughters together.
