For some, losing weight can be very difficult. That is why there are several weight loss supplements and diet pills that claim to help you burn through fat better than you can on your own. Unfortunately, a lot of these diet pills don’t actually do anything.

Oxitrim is a diet pill supplement that says it has helped 28,000 happy customers lose weight and feel better about themselves. It also claims that it can help you lose more than 4 times more weight than by traditional methods.

Those are some pretty big claims and we would love to see if they actually bear out. Diet pills are somewhat of a snake oil because the FDA does not regulate product claims, so manufacturers can claim basically whatever they want.

Today we are going to talk about Oxitrim and talk about the pros, cons, who makes it, where to buy, and whether it’s worth the purchase or not.

Overview: Oxitrim

Oxitrim markets itself as a “non-stimulant” weight loss supplement. Oxitrim contains a blend of ingredients meant to boost the metabolism and speed up fat burn during workouts and throughout the day. On the website, Oxitrim claims it can:

  • Help you lose weight
  • Decrease waist size
  • Improve metabolism

None of these claims are verified by the FDA, as is the case with most dietary supplements. Oxitrim does claim that a double-blind study of Oxitrim showed that those who took the supplement lost over 4 times as much weight compared to those on a placebo. You can download the study from a dropbox folder but there is no link to the journal where the study was published.

Oxitrim is made from a decent blend of ingredients, a handful of which are positively correlated with increased weight loss. This is a good sign and boosts the reputation of the product.

Advantages

  • Boost metabolism
  • Extends fat burn throughout the day
  • Good ingredients

Disadvantages

  • Claims are a bit of a stretch
  • Some ingredients don’t have much to do with weight loss

Who Makes Oxitrim Diet Pills?

Oxitrim ASR Research

Oxitrim is made by ASR Research, a health and fitness company founded in 2012 by Air Force veterans Steve Young and Mike Ledeboer. Both Young and Ledeboer have been fitness buffs throughout their lives, and they were inspired to create ASR Research to find ways to stay healthy and prolong the negative effects of aging.

ASR Research also operates with a company mission. The company helps out with several charitable organizations, most notably Fallen Patriots, an organization that helps families of military personnel that has lost their lives or been seriously injured in the line of duty.

ASR Research has established itself as one of the fastest-growing nutrition brands in the country (by their own estimation mind you) and claims to only use ingredients that are naturally and sustainably sourced.

How Does Oxitrim Work?

How does Oxitrim work

Remember that study we mentioned earlier? We did some digging and found out that it originally was published about 2 ingredients that were sold under the name of MeraTrim, a drug that has nothing to do with Oxitrim.

The two active ingredients in MeraTrim are sphaeranthus indicus and garcinia mangostana. These ingredients have been shown to increase weight loss and boost metabolism. However, these ingredients are not unique to Oxitrim and can be found in other supplements. You can even find these two supplements separately and add them to whatever supplement you want.

In other words, Oxitrim has some pretty good evidence that it can help you lose weight, but it is not because of something unique to Oxitrim per se. It’s mostly about the inclusion of those two key ingredients that are found in MeraTrim.

Oxitrim Diet Pills Ingredients

Here is a list of the major ingredients in Oxitrim:

  • Vitamin D3
  • Turmeric
  • Black Pepper Extract
  • Sphaeranthus indicus
  • Garcinia mangostana

Vitamin D3 is often called the sunshine molecule and plays an important role in bone and teeth health. Vitamin D3 can also help with skin complexion. There is also evidence that Vitamin D levels are affected by obesity indicating it could be related to weight loss.

Turmeric and black pepper, on the other hand, are known anti-inflammatories and are believed to promote healthy heart function. The link between these two ingredients and weight loss is not as clear. Black pepper extract may also help with nutrient absorption.

Lastly, the sphaeranthus indicus and the garcinia mangostana are the two active ingredients that can really help with weight loss. These two ingredients can boost metabolism, which speeds up the fat burn. Keep in mind that you still have to eat properly and exercise to get the maximum effect.

Safety and Side Effects

We could not find any mentioned side effects from product reviews, but then again, there are only a handful of product reviews on the website. Some of the ingredients have mild side effects. For example, vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia (high calcium blood levels) which leads to nausea, vomiting, and weakness. Turmeric and black pepper can cause upset stomach, diarrhea, and dizziness if taken in very high doses.

Where to Buy Oxitrim and Cost

Oxitrim Diet Pills Website

You can buy Oxitrim directly from ASR Research’s website. A single bottle 30-day supply of Oxitrim costs just under $60. You can also choose to subscribe and get regular shipments to get 10% off. Oxitrim does not seem to be available in physical stores on other online retailers.

Oxitrim: Does It Actually Work?

Yes, there is pretty good evidence that Oxitrim diet pills can be at least moderately help with weight loss and boost metabolism. Oxitrim contains two effective ingredients that have been shown to promote weight loss. Keep in mind that these ingredients are not used to Oxitrim and can be found in other things. The other ingredients have some good benefits but do not have much to do with weight loss. The side effects are mild and the company practices good shipping practices.
