Omari Latif Hardwick grew up in Georgia. As a child, he was always active and played many sports including basketball, baseball and football, but at the same time, he developed an interest in the arts. Hardwick began writing poetry as a teen and still does today. He won a football scholarship to the University of Georgia, and continued to nurture his love of acting by minoring in theater. He declared himself for the NFL draft after graduating but was not picked up, and he worked odd jobs to pay for acting classes. Hardwick started to find bit parts on tv and film and in music videos, and he is probably best known for his roles in Saved and Dark Blue, and also the films Miracle at St Anna and The A-Team. Hardwick is a founding member of Plan B Inc. Theater Group and a co-founder of the Actor’s Lounge at the LA Greenway Theater. He has a production company called Bravelife Films. Hardwick has millions of followers on Instagram. He is married and has 2 children. Hardwick is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 187 lbs.
