Every week it seems like there is a new fad diet among fitness and nutrition crowds. We saw the Atkins and paleo diets, and now the next big thing is the keto diet. Keto diets involve restricting your carb intake so that your body enters into a state of ketosis and starts burning fats for energy.
Keto diets are tough though. One problem is that in the initial stages you can feel incredibly lethargic and tired. As such, a lot of people have trouble sticking faithfully to keto and don’t see results.
Keto Trim is a supplement designed to alleviate those issues. Keto Trim contains fat-burning ingredients that can stimulate the production of ketone bodies and boost energy levels.
With the boom of the ketogenic diet came an increase in keto supplements. So, with so many choices, such as Keto Fuel and Keto Drive, you may want to learn more about Keto Trim before making your choice. In this review we are going to cover Keto Trim and see if it really does work.
What Is Keto Trim?
Keto Trim is designed to be taken in tandem with following a keto diet. Ket Trim is primarily a source of exogenous ketones. That’s a fancy way of saying that they are ketones that are not produced within your body. You take Keto Trim and the ketones both act as an energy source so you don’t get tired and help the production of more ketone bodies.
Keto Trim claims that it can support blood ketone levels and support a transition to a keto diet. Keto Trim also features BHB, a molecule that is supposed to stimulate the breakdown of fats by the liver.
Keto Trim comes in a convenient capsule form. Each bottle contains 60 capsules and each capsule has 800mg of ketogenic ingredients. You are supposed to take 2 a day, normally in the morning before you eat. Taking them in the morning gives you energy for the rest of the day.
Keto Trim Advantages
- Convenient capsule form

- Ingredients have some benefits
- Company reputation is not good

Who Makes Keto Trim?
Keto Trim is made by Keto Trim, a subsidiary of Vita Balance. Keto Trim is just one of the 30+ supplement brands owned by Vita Balance. Vita Balance offers a wide range of supplements from hair oils to diet supplements. Vita Balance claims that all of their brands are made in the US in FDA approved facilities and abide by strict GMP guidelines. If true, this is a good sign for supplement quality.
Vita Balance also claims that all of their products abide by rigorous research standards and that they draw on international research studies to improve their products. This is an interesting claim because on the Keto Trim page, all referenced sources are not actually about Keto Trim but about various ingredients. To be fair though, the sources they provide are legitimate.
However, Keto Fit has a very bad BBB rating. They have an F rating and a lot of unanswered complaints. This does not necessarily mean that the product is bad or does not work, but it does mean dealing with the company will probably be a hassle. The majority of complaints have to do with bad billing and shipping practices. To be honest, that is a very common complaint with supplement companies so it’s not very surprising.
How Does Keto Trim Work?
Keto Trim’s main ingredients are all forms of exogenous ketones, as opposed to endogenous ketones that are synthesized within the body. There is some evidence that exogenous ketones, when consumed properly, can help induce a state of bodily ketosis. Of course, this is dependent on you following a low-carb high-protein diet.
This is a common stumbling block for a lot of keto supplements. They claim that when combined with diet and exercise, you can lose weight. But that is how you lose weight without the supplement. Absent any controlled studies, there is no real evidence that the supplement is actually doing anything. Even if the ingredients have been shown to have some effects, they could be inert in the supplement because of the method of delivery or not present in great enough concentrations.
As far as customer reviews go, information is sparse. There are only 5 reviews on the website and all praise it highly. That is a very small number of reviews though so we can’t read too much into those.
Keto Trim Ingredients
Keto Trim has 3 key ingredients combined in an 800mg blend.
- Magnesium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (HBH)
- Calcium- BHB
Each of the ingredients is just BHB with a mineral group. There is some decent evidence that BHB can help induce a state of bodily ketosis. However, there are no clear studies about whether BHB is effective for weight loss specifically.
Either way, studies on BHB involve much larger amounts than 800mg. One study we found had participants take 12-24 grams of BHB and that amount went away after 24 hours. It is likely the body metabolizes 800mg of BHB much quicker, which makes us doubt how effective Keto Trim actually would be for inducing ketosis.
Is Keto Trim Safe?
Keto Trim claims that it has no side effects and no reviews pinpoint any side effects. BHB is associated with some side effects though. The most common side effects of BHB include upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pains. An extremely high level of ketone bodies can lead to a potentially dangerous condition called ketoacidosis, but Keto Fit does not contain nearly enough exogenous ketones to be dangerous.
Where To Buy Keto Trim
You can buy Keto Fit from the product’s official website. Keto Fit is not currently available at any physical retail stores. A 60-capsule bottle costs $29.95. You can also buy 3 bottles and get one free for $78.96.
Final Verdict: Is Keto Trim Worth It?
Keto Trim has some ingredients that are known to help induce ketosis, but there is no evidence that those ingredients are effective for weight loss. Moreover, it is likely that there is not enough BHB to induce ketosis. The product is best used to support energy levels while following a keto diet.
