Jennifer Garner’s Diet

Diet Summary

Garner followed celebrity nutritionist Kelly LeVeque’s plan called Fab Four to lose baby weight and to get ripped for her role in Peppermint. A Fab Four meal contains protein, fat, fiber and greens. LeVeque takes a ‘mix and match’ approach to eating, meaning that once you memorize the 4 categories, you can mix them up however you like. As for what Garner herself eats, she whips up a protein-rich smoothie for breakfast, a salad with more lean protein and healthy fats for lunch, and she makes a point to finish dinner by 7:30 pm. She also makes sure to drink plenty of water.

Fab Four Facts

A Fab Four meal of protein, fat, fiber and greens is said to switch off hunger hormones, reduce inflammation and bloating, all while offering a full array of essential nutrients.

\

Protein & Fat to Feel Full

Each of the Fab Four components has a job to do, besides offering nutrition. Protein and fat signal to your body that you are satisfied.

\

Fiber to Detoxify

Fiber pushed food through your system, helping to clear out toxins and waste. It also slows the absorption of glucose.

\

Greens For Health

Everyone needs to eat their greens. Green vegetables provide essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which fight damage from free radicals, and keep us looking and feeling younger.

\

Smoothie Power

As part of her diet to prepare for Peppermint, Garner would have a breakfast smoothie packed with healthy ingredients, like collagen, spinach, flaxseed and blueberries, but sometimes she’d substitute her own brand of baby food.

\

Cheat Like You Mean It

Garner makes an effort to eat clean, but if she’s in the mood for a treat, she won’t say no to a burger and fries, baked goods or homemade ice cream.
