Sit with legs extended in front of you, foot flexed, right knee bent with the foot on the ground. Wrap a resis-tance band around left foot, holding the other end with the right foot. Lean back, lowering onto forearms and raise left leg until band is pulled taut. Point toes as you lift until thighs are parallel. Flex foot as you lower to starting position. Do 30 reps x 2 sets for each leg.
Lateral Kick
Lie on right side, knees bent, legs stacked, right fo-rearm on ground. Loop resistance band around left foot and hold the other end with your hands. Raise left leg until feet are hip-width apart, then draw knee to chest. Extend left leg out to side, then return to starting position. Do 30 reps x 2 sets for each leg.
W Arms & Abs
Sit with knees bent, feet hip-width apart on ground. Place Pilates ball under low back. Lean against it, tucking hips forward. Holding a dumbbell in each hand, extend arms overhead, palms forward. Bend elbows and lower weights to ears to form a W with arms. Return to start position. Do 20 reps x 2 sets
