Chris Wark’s Diet

Diet Summary

Wark believes diet is just about the most important thing you can do to prevent cancer. Before he got his diagnosis, he says he had a very fast metabolism, was very skinny and could get away with eating anything, which in his case meant a lot of junk food. Following his surgery, the hospital served him unhealthy food (a sloppy joe) and it occurred to him that he should be eating better. To heal himself, he adopted a raw vegan diet. He says the best sources of clean, high-quality fuel for your body comes from raw, organic fruit, vegetables, seeds and nuts. He did a lot of juicing and also took a bunch of vitamin supplements. Today, he still sticks to mainly fresh, organic fruit and vegetables, and the only meat he eats is local, organic and pasture-raised. He says both food manufacturers and the medical field are big business and care more about their bottom line than your health.

Diet Details

Go Raw

Proponents of a Raw Foods diet like Wark say that cooking destroys valuable enzymes found in raw foods, and also raises its acidity, creating a breeding ground for disease.

Make It Fresh

Wark said he would make a batch of juice in the morning to drink throughout the day, but later discovered that much of the nutrient content is lost unless you drink it right away. He says if you are going to store your juice, be sure to use airtight glass bottles.

Quit Overeating

Smoking is the number one cause of cancer, but Wark says a lot of people don’t know the second most common cause: obesity. He says he can’t stress enough how important diet is in preventing and fighting cancer.

Smelly Superfood

Wark ate several cloves of crushed, raw garlic each day as part of his protocol. He says he stank, but at least he lived to tell about it. Wark also recommends raw onions to combat cancer.

Origin Matters

Wark says to eat organic produce because it is much healthier than what you’ll find in the non-organic section. The agro-biz fruit and vegetables grown from genetically modified seeds, and awash in harmful chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

The Bottom Line

Wark says it’s important to remember that the food industry is a business, and looking to earn as much profit as it can. This means using ingredients which are toxic to us.

‘If you compare commercial and organic produce in your local grocery, you will likely find that the commercial produce looks much better, but don’t be fooled. They have mastered the science of growing “beautiful” produce.’

Chris Wark’s Workout Routine

Weekly Workout Routine

On the Rebound

Wark recommends using a trampoline as the best exercise for your immune system because jumping really gets your lymphatic fluid moving, a key component to detoxifying the body.

Be Vigorous

Even if you’re not into bouncing, Wark recommends some form of exercise that makes you sweat. Your skin is your biggest detoxifying organ, and sweating releases toxins through the skin.

Give Me Exercise Or Else

Wark says exercise is extremely important to prevent cancer, and to help cure it. He says doctors who discourage cancer patients from exercising are doing their patients a disservice.

Rock of Ages

Wark says he often listens to worship music or healing scriptures to compound the healthful effects of exercise.

Rise & Rebound

Wark says you can streamline your day by exercising before your daily shower. He also says even if you don’t break a sweat, rebounding still offers health benefits.

Fresh Air Fountain of Health

Wark recommends exercising out of doors whenever possible to connect with nature and God.

Just Breathe

Wark says it’s important to breathe deeply as you exercise, especially when out in fresh air.

He also recommends reading, and avoiding doing anything stimulating, like surfing the internet, eating sugar or thinking about stressful things, like work.
