Colon Broom Review

Colon Broom is a dietary fiber supplement that facilitates weight loss and supports a healthy digestive system. It is designed to support your digestive system health while relieving common digestive ailments like constipation you may be dealing with.

Your digestive system is widely known for all the food it digests daily. Without it, your body wouldn’t be able to break down all the nutrients your cells need to function correctly. Not only that, but your body wouldn’t be able to eliminate all the waste it doesn’t need.

Although the digestive system is very efficient at what it does, it’s not perfect. In fact, there are certain foods it can’t digest — fiber and prebiotics. Despite not being digested by the body, fiber and prebiotics are extremely important to the normal functioning of the digestive system.

Stomach-Digestive System

Because healthy bacteria are live microorganisms, they need food to survive and function just like humans do. Since the body doesn’t digest fiber and prebiotics, they pass through the GI tract untouched, providing food for all the good bacteria in our gut. That’s why not getting enough fiber and prebiotics in your daily diet can lead to many health problems, including constipation, bloating, irregular bowel movements, and other digestive issues. While the right whole foods are the best solution, supplements can help. That’s where Colon Broom comes in. The question is, is this supplement genuinely worth the price?

Our Colon Broom review today examines this supplement’s ingredients and what makes it so unique. We’ll discuss what it does, possible side effects, and claims vs. reality to determine if you should purchase it. Let’s get started.

What Is Colon Broom?

Colon Broom is a dietary supplement designed to relieve constipation, improve weight loss, enhance digestion, and cleanse your body of waste backup. It’s manufactured and distributed by Max Nutrition LLC, a company located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ColonBroom by Max Nutrition LLC

To receive the best results, the company requires you to take a short quiz, which helps them learn more about your symptoms, lifestyle, and more. For example, they’ll ask you to provide your gender, age, weight, height, desired weight, and how active you are daily.

They also ask what your current health state is and whether you’re linked to bloating, weight gain, constipation, diarrhea, skin issues, bad breath, heartburn, stomach pain, cramps, sugar cravings, mood swings, aching back, oral thrush, increased appetite, joint pain, and more.

Finally, they get a feel for any food sensitivities you might have and any conditions your doctor has diagnosed you with — including high cholesterol, high blood sugar, thyroid issues, gout, diabetes, IBS, colitis, gastritis, GERD, Chron’s Disease, or Diverticulitis.

After you take the quiz, you’ll be directed to a page that allows you to purchase their product. We assume the quiz is to identify whether or not you’re a good fit for the product, unlike other supplements that utilize the quiz system to personalize a supplement exclusively for you, and we’ll let you know why.

Colon Broom Ingredients

The formula doesn’t change regardless of what you answer during the quiz. After filling out the quiz several times and selecting different answers each time, we still arrived at the same formula. With that said, let’s look at that formula’s ingredients.

Colon Broom Dosage, Packaging, and Pricing

The packaging for Colon Broom is immaculate and pleasing to the eye. The bottle, cap, and label are all white, but the lettering and accent colors are black and light green. The front of the label reads, “A natural way to help get rid of unwanted bloating.”

While we don’t know how much citric acid, crystallized lemon, stevia leaf extract, and sea salt is in each serving, we do know it contains 3.6 grams of Psyllium Husk powder. Each scoop provides 20 calories, 4g carbs, 3g dietary fiber, 1mg calcium, 60mg sodium, and 1mg potassium.

Every bottle contains 60 servings, each serving being a 5.7-gram scoop of powder. You’re directed to take one scoop after a meal, twice per day. With that said, each bottle will last you 30 days.

It costs $69 per bottle, $135 for three bottles, and $210 for six bottles.

Colon Broom Pros vs. Cons

Before you purchase a supplement, you should always consider each formula’s various benefits and downfalls. Since no supplement is perfect, it’s imperative that you know what your body needs, what you’re putting in your body, and whether it’s worth it.

To ensure you make a healthy and intelligent decision when searching for a supplement designed to improve digestion, we’re going to break down all the things we like (pros) about Colon Broom, as well as the things we don’t like (cons) about Colon Broom below.

Pros

  • Psyllium Husk powder is a dietary fiber that improves digestion
  • Natural strawberry flavoring for a great taste
  • Easy to mix at just 5.7 grams of powder per scoop
  • You receive a free diet guide for the best results
  • Free shipping
  • Vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and non-GMO
  • Citric acid can improve digestion

Cons

  • Extremely expensive
  • Better off changing your diet
  • Marketed as a ‘personalized solution,’ but it’s a standard formula for everyone
  • Better alternatives out there

Claims vs. Reality

Colon Broom is marketed as a personalized solution to poor digestive health, including recurring bloating, constipation, irregular bowel movements, and more. Furthermore, it’s priced like a customized solution and even requires you to take a quiz before purchasing the product.

Usually, that means you get a supplement with ingredients tailored to meet your body’s needs. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with Colon Broom. Despite having to take a quiz, the formula they give you is the same formula they give anyone interested in the product.

Not only is that a little deceiving, but it isn’t very pleasant, especially considering how expensive it is. With only one real ingredient designed to improve digestion, it’s a steep price to pay compared to the wide range of other supplements out there, which have much better formulas.

To be fair, Colon Broom will likely help you with your digestive issues, and it comes with some good reviews from past customers. Still, it’s not worth the price, and you’re better off looking elsewhere or seeing a doctor and changing your diet to tackle the root of the problem.

ColonBroom Benefits

Colon Broom Competitors & Alternatives

As described above, Colon Broom is marketed as a personalized solution to your digestive needs, but that’s not entirely true. In fact, it’s nothing more than a Psyllium Husk powder with sweeteners, additives, and strawberry flavoring — not worth the $69 per month.

The good news is there are a ton of personalized supplements designed for digestion and gut health that actually follow through with their intent. Better yet, we’ll detail some of our favorite brands that you should consider — they’re worth the money, unlike Colon Broom.

Seed Subscription

ColonBroom Alternative-Seed Subscription

Seed Health Inc. provides a compelling symbiotic product (probiotics and prebiotics) called DS-01. It contains five blends that improve gastrointestinal and whole-body health. While there’s no quiz, it gives your body everything it needs and nothing that it doesn’t to ensure optimal gut health.

The five blends include a Digestive Health blend, Dermatological Health blend, Cardiovasular Health blend, Micronutrient Synthesis blend, and Microbiota-Accessible Polyphenolic Precursors blend. All in all, there are 24 different probiotic strains in the formula.

It works on a subscription basis. It’s only $50 per month, and you receive a free travel vial for holding your capsules in. Each month, you receive a new one-month supply of capsules that you put in the vial. This helps reduce waste and gives you a stylish way to carry your capsules.

Jetson Seasonal Probiotic Subscription

ColonBroom Alternative - Seasonal Probiotic subscription

The Seasonal Probiotic subscription is brought to you by Jetson. It encourages a healthy rotation of probiotic strains every 30-90 days to improve microbiome diversity. It’s a different approach to probiotics that ensures you don’t take the same probiotic repeatedly.

There are four formulas in rotation — Fit, Mood, Immunity, and Skin. Fit is designed for the summer months and gives you energy. Mood is designed for the fall months and reduces anxiety. Immunity is designed for the winter months and improves the immune system. Skin is designed for the spring months and improves skin health.

You get a one-month supply each month when you sign up for the subscription. Every three months, they change the formula to correspond with the season. The subscription costs $35 per bottle, and the price doesn’t change per season – -it’s the same $35 throughout the year.

Viome Supplement & Testing

Viome Supplements

When it comes to personalized supplements, no one does it better than Viome. Instead of taking a quiz to understand your current health state better, Viome analyzes a blood sample with a Gut Intelligence Test and a blood and stool sample with a Health Intelligence Test.

While you can purchase the tests and receive your results without adding in supplements — $129 for the Gut Intelligence Test and $199 for the Health Intelligence Test — you can also sign up for a monthly subscription, which gives you personalized supplements tailored for you.

You can get a personalized prebiotic/probiotic supplement with the Gut Intelligence Test for just $60/month. If you want more than that, you can add on Precision Supplements (which chooses between 250 different ingredients that fit you best) for $200/month.

Final Verdict: Colon Broom

If you’re looking for a personalized supplement to help you improve digestion, gut health, and irregular bowel movements, Colon Broom isn’t it. It’s not necessarily a bad supplement, and Psyllium Husk powder definitely has some benefits, but it’s not worth $69 per bottle.

With that said, you’re better off looking at some of the other personalized supplements we mentioned — including Viome, Seed, and Seasonal Probiotic. They take more of a customized approach to your needs and are much more valuable than Colon Broom.

Colon Broom FAQ

What is dietary fiber, and why do we need it?

Dietary fiber is a carbohydrate found in a wide range of foods — including vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes — that the gut can’t digest. Instead, it travels through the gastrointestinal tract undigested and acts as a food source for probiotics (healthy bacteria).

Fiber is also known for absorbing water and results in regular bowel movements, bowel health, lower cholesterol levels, controlled blood sugar levels, a healthier weight, and a longer life. Men should aim for 30-40 grams of fiber per day, while women should aim for 20-25 grams per day.

Can you lose weight with Colon Broom?

Colon Broom contains dietary fiber that helps you feel full and curb hunger and cravings, ultimately leading to less eating and weight loss.

Can you use Colon Broom while fasting?

Since Colon Broom contains fiber instead of protein, fat, or carbohydrates, it won’t break your fast because the body won’t digest what you’re consuming. This means you can take Colon Broom while fasting. In fact, it will help you feel fuller, which can make it easier to fast.

Can you use Colon Broom on a Keto diet?

The keto diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet that many people take when forcing the body to burn fat for energy instead of burning carbohydrates. Since Colon Broom contains fiber, a type of carbohydrate that isn’t digested by the body, it won’t be metabolized into energy.

With that said, Colon Broom won’t ruin your keto diet and won’t add any unwanted carbs to your diet.

How long does it take Colon Broom to start working?

Much like any other supplement, there’s no way of telling exactly how long it will take to start working — primarily since it works differently for everyone. Some people might not experience any change at all. With that said, most people can expect changes within 1-3 days.
