The benefits you’ll get from SuperMush depend on which product you want, although there will likely be some overlapping benefits. But below are the specific benefits for each of the three varieties:

Both lion’s mane and cordyceps offer antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Plus, cordyceps have been shown to increase ATP production, which can increase energy levels. 

And lion’s mane has neuroprotective properties and has been shown to enhance brain health and cognitive function. 

Moreover, both cordyceps and lion’s mane have shown antidepressant and anti-fatigue properties too, so there’s a lot you can get out of these guys!

Rhodiola

And with the inclusion of Rhodiola, this may further enhance energy and decrease fatigue since Rhodiola is a strong adaptogen known for its anti-stress and energy-boosting properties.

Finally, they offer green tea extract, orange peel extract, and elderflower, which can increase immune function and may enhance energy levels too.

Additionally, you also have reishi added to this blend. Reishi has compounds in it that can help ward off infections and decrease the risk of some cancers, while also offering anti-allergy, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial functions.

They also have acerola extract, which comes from acerola cherry and is very rich in vitamin C. As you may know, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and known to be able to support immune function.

Does SuperMush Work?

The SuperMush products should likely be a nice addition to your daily routine for enhancing health and wellness. 

All of the mushrooms in SuperMush are well-researched and proven to offer many different health benefits, including the main ones advertised by SuperMush (energy, immune health, and relaxation). 

It’s also great that they only used the fruiting bodies, since these are much richer in bioactive compounds compared to the mycelium part of the mushroom.

Plus, the inclusion of additional ingredients likely adds further support for each of the three different varieties and their main benefits.

However, all products use a proprietary blend, so it’s unclear how much of each ingredient is in here. The overall dosage at 523mg is decent for each variety, but it still doesn’t mean that each individual ingredient is dosed optimally, so that limits its overall potential. 

And some of the other ingredients aren’t even included in this blend, so it’s really hard to know how much of these “extra ingredients” are in here. There could very well only be trace amounts.

Claims vs. Reality

So, will each of the three varieties fulfill their claimed benefits? I’d say yes, at least somewhat. Without exact dosages, it’s hard to make specific claims, but given that all of the ingredients are well-researched, I would expect at least moderate improvements in:

• Energy and cognitive function for the Energy variety
• Immune health for the Immune variety
• Anxiety, stress, and sleep for the Chill variety

Again, nothing specific can be claimed for any of these, but you should see at least some improvements, especially when taken consistently on a daily basis for the long term.

The SuperMush mouth spray products are certainly unique. And with well-researched functional mushrooms and other ingredients, these products should be a nice way to help you reach some of your health goals, even though the exact dosages are unclear. It has a few things that we don’t like, but it overall seems like a high-quality and effective functional mushroom supplement.
