Diet Details

Clean & Free

Rodriguez’s amazing abs are in large part due to her dedication in the kitchen. She eats clean, organic, and free-range whenever possible.

A K.I.S.S. Plan

Rodriguez prefers to eat small, light meals. She isn’t into breakfast, but when she does eat it, she’ll have eggs and toast with jelly. Lunch is salad with protein and dinner is another meat-and-veg combo, like fish tacos.

Eating for Type

Rodriguez says she can’t do vegan because she is type O blood, which needs meat to fuel it.

Love Them Veg

Rodriguez’s go-tos in the vegetable category are broccoli and spinach, and she’s also a big fan of beets.

Not Into Cleansing

Rodriguez once tried the Master Cleanse, a 10-day liquid detox/weight loss diet involving drinking only salt water and a beverage made with lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper, and hated it. Her favorite cleanse was the liver/gallbladder cleanse: 3 days of olive oil and lemon juice.

Not Like Work

Rodriguez says having to learn how to make tacos and fajitas to play in the film Machete was pretty cool.
