Justin Theroux grew up in Washington, DC. He began acting in high school and graduated from Bennington College in 1993 with a degree in visual arts and drama. Theroux’s tv credits include Spin City, The District and The Leftovers. He is currently starring in and executive producer of Mosquito Coast, based on a book written by his uncle. His first film role came in 1996 with I Shot Andy Warhol, but his breakthrough came in 2001 with Mulholland Drive. Other acting credits include American Psycho, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, and The Girl on the Train. Theroux has also written screenplays, including Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2 and Rock of Ages. He began directing films in 2007 with Dedication, and he has also appeared on Broadway. Despite a limited online presence, Theroux still has millions of followers. He was married to Jennifer Anniston from 2015-2018. Theroux is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 160 lbs.

Theroux isn’t a fan of dieting or making himself eat stuff if he doesn’t want to. Instead, his approach involves intermittent fasting. He does not eat after 7 pm, meaning he doesn’t give in to the late-night munchies. That said, he isn’t downing junk food and his abs attest to his will power. He mostly eats clean and doesn’t overdo it when it comes to less-than-healthy choices. He stays hydrated with plenty of water.

Having passed the milestone of 50, Theroux still looks better than a lot of guys half his age. Theroux works out, but he also eats clean to make those abs pop.

Some of Theroux’s go-tos include oatmeal for breakfast, poultry and veggies for lunch, and fish and more veg for dinner.

With body fat in the single digits, it’s hard to believe Theroux is in his 50s, but he puts in the work.
Theroux enjoys boxing, and is pretty good at it, although he admits there’s lots of people out there who are better, including some of the women at his gym. His advice: focus on skills and don’t get emotional. He trains at Gotham Gym with owner Rob Piela.
Besides boxing and lifting, Theroux enjoys biking and walking around New York City where he makes his home.
Theroux usually works out for an hour, 5 days a week. He’ll spend 40 minutes doing boxing training and 20 minutes in the weight room doing core work, circuits, or deadlifts.
Theroux’s secret to being ripped is no secret, just hard work. He has lifted weights for decades.
