Diet Summary

Booker totally revamped his diet thanks to advice from the late Kobe Bryant. Booker has a private chef who prepares clean meals of lean protein, healthy fats, and fiber- and vitamin-packed carbs. He takes hydration seriously and starts every day with a big glass of water, and drinks only plain water or his coconut water brand, Coco5, the rest of the time.

Booker’s dad pushed him constantly, and never let him think that it was okay to knock off before he’d left everything on the court.

Use Any Edge

To prepare for a 3-point shooting contest sponsored by Under Armour, Booker got 3 of their basketballs to train with so that he was used to their particular style, which is apparently ‘super grippy.’

Competitive to the Core

Booker is all about winning. To that end, he trains to perfect every aspect of his game, and he won’t leave the gym until he wins the ultimate game of knockout.

Use the Muscle Between Your Ears

Booker’s dad taught him that it was just as important to play smart as it is to have talent.

Mega Daily Dose

Booker trains most days, spending hours at the gym. He is often the first one in and the last to leave. He has put in extra hours of training ever since he was a teenager and hasn’t stopped.
