Doctor Mike’s Diet

Diet Summary

Doctor Mike is a busy man. He does not do a lot of cooking, but says that’s no excuse not to eat healthy. He usually has 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. Some of his standards include avocado toast with smoked salmon, a Chipotle bowl, and sushi. He focuses on protein and healthy fats, and watches the carbs. He also says that while he likes Chipotle, it is high in sodium. His approach to eating is practical and proves that you do not need to cook to find nutritious food. Doctor Mike is a fan of intermittent fasting for weight loss and weight maintenance. When he was training for his big fight against Chris Avila, he was burning through 2,000-3,000 calories a day, and had to eat more frequently to keep up the demands of training.
