BlackWolf Pre-Workout Review

BlackWolf Pre-Workout is a great-tasting pre-workout formula designed with research-backed ingredients to improve your focus, energy, and endurance while exercising.

Hundreds of pre-workouts are on the market, and they all take different approaches to getting you pumped for a workout. While most pre-workout supplements contain many of the same key ingredients, like caffeine and beta-alanine, the minute details can make a difference overall. Today, we are going to take a look at the BlackWolf Pre-Workout supplement.

BlackWolf is one of the newer pre-workouts on the market and claims to offer various unique benefits. How does it compare to other pre-workout supplements? What key ingredients are included in its formula that hit the mark?

Read our BlackWolf Pre-Workout review to find out more details about this supplement, its benefits and side effects, and whether it’s worth buying as a fuel option for your body.

About BlackWolf Pre-Workout

What Is BlackWolf Pre-Workout?

BlackWolf Pre-Workout is a great-tasting pre-workout formula that combines amino acids, caffeine (in some flavors), hormone precursors, and plant compounds to give you the energy and materials you need for intense, muscle-building workouts.

It comes in 3-flavors, 1-of which is caffeine-free, and they claim you’ll love their flavors far more than the usual crap most companies expect you to choke down.

More importantly, based on its ingredient profile, there is no reason BlackWolf’s formula won’t boost your energy, improve your performance, and even crank up your focus up to a laser level to help you work out longer, harder, and recover more quickly.

BlackWolf Pre-Workout Benefits

Clinically Proven Ingredients

The ingredients in BlackWolf Pre-Workout are primarily amino acids with proven benefits in building muscle (they are, after all, your muscle’s building blocks), helping you focus, and increasing the release of androgens.

Plus, it has plant compounds such as dynamin and caffeine that are well-proven to energize you, and BioPerine boosts the product’s absorption and helps you burn more fat.

100% Transparent Formula

While BlackWolf gives full disclosure on all the active ingredients in their pre-workout formula, they seem to want you to miss the whole “artificial flavors and sweeteners” thing by burying disclosure of flavoring ingredients in the FAQs.

Sure, they technically provide full disclosure, though we question why they would tout their formula as standing out from the crowd due to its superior flavors only to make the flavor source contradictory to what are otherwise healthy, natural ingredients.

Made In The USA

Not only does what’s in it count but where it’s made counts too. By producing its product here in the US, BlackWolf keeps our economy strong and our citizens working so that we can all live happier, healthier, more productive lives.

They also make sure to use ingredients that are FDA-approved and in a GMP-certified facility so that you know you’re getting the safest, highest-quality product possible. This includes FDA-approved artificial flavors and the acesulfame potassium they use to sweeten the product artificially.

BlackWolf Pre-Workout Ingredients

BlackWolf Pre-Workout contains 13 ingredients within its formula. Below, we will take a more thorough look and each component and what they do.

BlackWolf Pre-Workout Ingredients

L-Citrulline Malate 6000mg

Nitric oxide helps relax and dilate your blood vessels; this means lower blood pressure, better heart health, and increased blood and oxygen delivery to muscles. That’s why a focus on nitric oxide is found in many pre-workout supplements.

Some supplements, such as VitalFit Red Root, use beetroot to promote the production of nitric oxide; while others, such as MRI Black Powder, use Agmatine to prevent nitric oxide breakdown. Then there’s BlackWolf; they use L-citrulline malate.

BlackWolf adds L-citrulline malate to its formula to boost your energy, strength, power, and endurance. L-citrulline malate is clinically proven to increase blood levels of nitric oxide. Plus, by including malate, your body’s ATP levels are increased.

Since ATP is your muscle’s primary energy source, this means more fuel goes to your muscles, so you can train longer and harder while burning more fat.

Beta-Alanine 3200mg

To further enhance your power, strength, and endurance while decreasing recovery time, BlackWolf includes beta-alanine in its formula, which increases your muscle’s supply of carnosine.

Because carnosine helps reduce the buildup of lactic acid in your muscles, it reduces the feeling of soreness and tiredness so that you can work out longer and harder.

Creatine Monohydrate 3000mg

Another amino acid that helps boost ATP production in your muscles is creatine, one of the most widely known bodybuilding and strength training supplements.

Creatine cranks up lean muscle growth while giving you the additional energy you need for the most intense workouts you can experience.

Betaine Anhydrous 2000mg

Betaine anhydrous is a modified amino acid that helps your body form methionine, another amino acid that plays a critical role in your muscle’s protein synthesis.

It’s also been proven to lower lactic acid levels, boost muscle and strength gains, and reduce muscle soreness and post-workout recovery time.

L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG) 1000mg

L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate, or AAKG, is an amino acid that can rev up your blood levels of nitric oxide to improve your aerobic and anaerobic workout performance. While BlackWolf claims that it can improve your VO2 max by up to 80.65%, we’re a little skeptical of those numbers coming from their website with no link to the scientific proof they say is there.

The critical question is, with such an incredible boost in exercise performance available from a safe, all-natural substance, why would endurance athletes bother with EPO and all the inherent dangers and illegality?

Still, AAKG can successfully boost your power, energy, and endurance while lowering your blood pressure and giving you solid, vascular muscle mass—we just question to what level.

Taurine 1000mg

Next up on BlackWolf’s ingredient list is taurine—an amino acid that reduces recovery time, lowers fatigue, and helps your muscles contract more forcefully.

It’s also a potent antioxidant that can reduce the effects of oxidative stress on your body so that you experience less inflammation, better hormone balance, and fewer effects of stress.

L-Tyrosine 600mg

While improving power, endurance, and recovery time are essential, so is your focus and how you feel. For one thing, if you’re feeling the effects of modern-day stress (as most of us are), you’re likely also feeling the effects of low dopamine, adrenaline, and HGH levels.

This leaves you feeling low, foggy, and not-so-energetic, so working out doesn’t seem like such an attractive way to spend your next hour or so.

But by sharpening your focus and balancing your body’s supply of feel-good and energizing hormones, you can be more productive in and out of the gym while maintaining a great sense of well-being.

After all, working out is supposed to make you feel good, which adding tyrosine to your pre-workout formula helps with.

Caffeine Anhydrous 200mg (Only in Green Apple and Blue Raspberry flavors)

What good would any pre-workout formula be without a little caffeinated pep? Well, plenty, though they still added caffeine to 2 of their formulas and offer a 3rd as a caffeine-free alternative.

But while caffeine certainly has its benefits when it comes to revving you up to work out hard and burn fat, it can also keep you up at night, induce the jitters, and overall make you feel like crap if you use too much.

For these reasons, it’s advisable to either cut back on other sources of caffeine while using this formula or stick to the non-caffeinated fruit punch flavor.

Dynamine 125mg

Caffeine isn’t the only “safe,” legal, energizing alkaloid since dynamine can also foot the bill when it comes to pepping you up to work out. It is found in Kucha tea leaves, and while it’s structurally similar to caffeine, it also boosts dopamine in your brain to boost your mood, energy, focus, and motivation.

Plus, its fast onset and short duration of action mean it works quickly before your workout but also diminishes soon once it’s over so that you’re not left feeling cranky, unfocused, and sleepless.

DMAE 150mg And Huperzine 10mg (Only in Fruit Punch flavor)

DMAE increases your body’s production of the neurotransmitter (aka hormone) acetylcholine, and huperzine is a plant compound that protects it from breaking down.

Since acetylcholine improves cellular communication, it also helps your muscles contract while keeping you focused and alert. Not only does this help you in the gym, but it also comes in handy for everyday life and your long-term brain health, which these two compounds can help protect.

Coconut Water Powder 300mg

When you work out, you sweat, which means you need to replace electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium, all of which coconut water contains.

Coconut water is currently experiencing a trend in popularity, and there’s a reason for this, which is that it’s one of the best, most balanced natural sources of minerals and sugars available to keep your muscles energized and cramp-free.

BioPerine 5mg

Did you know that black pepper contains compounds that benefit your nutritional absorption, metabolism, dopamine levels, serotonin levels, and brain health? It’s true since an ingredient in the black pepper called Piperine, or more commonly, BioPerine, can do all that and possibly more.

It’s also an essential addition to this formula since it can improve your body’s nutritional absorption rate by as much as 30%, according to BlackWolf’s website. This means you’re getting a more efficient supply of energizing pre-workout compounds while wasting less money on “expensive urine.”

Does BlackWolf Pre-Workout Work?

By pumping you up for your workout, helping you burn fat, and allowing recovery to start during your workout, BlackWolf’s formula does what they claim it will.

It provides the hormone production, energy boost, and building blocks your muscles need to perform and grow their best and has the absorbency you need for its ingredients to go to work at their optimum levels.

Other than containing ingredients that some may shy away from due to their controversial nature, BlackWolf Pre-Workout can take your workouts to a whole new level and do it with very few—if any–side effects from stimulants.

Black Wolf Pre-Workout for Gym rats

Who Is BlackWolf Pre-Workout Best For?

Gym rats, endurance athletes, and those looking to get in shape and lose some fat can all benefit from this product.

But there are ingredients such as DMAE in one flavor and amino acid concentrations in all that affect hormone production—androgens in particular—which means those younger than 18, pregnant, or breastfeeding should avoid its use.

DMAE should also NOT be taken by those with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or epilepsy. Anyone on prescription medication or with a sliver of doubt about its safety should check with their doctor before using this product.

That, and there’s that whole thing mentioned earlier about using artificial sweeteners and flavorings in an otherwise “healthy” and “natural” product. To us, that’s similar to a meth dealer selling “organic” speed, though maybe not quite that extreme.

Still, you get the picture!

Claims vs. Reality

BlackWolf may have a little grey area surrounding their “transparency,” though other than that, their claims are accurate. The product’s ingredients mostly have scientific proof they work, and you can also see the results yourself.

However, beware that the only return policy is on unopened containers, so don’t expect the generosity many other companies provide in guaranteeing their products.

Mostly though, the product performs as they claim, and if you’re looking for an effective pre-workout formula that isn’t just another load of caffeine, caffeine, and more caffeine along with other stimulants, this is a good one to try.

Is BlackWolf Pre-Workout Safe?

Those sensitive to caffeine or other stimulants may need to reduce their dosage or avoid this product altogether. There is also a concern for those under 18 or who are pregnant or nursing due to the body’s internal chemistry this product can affect.

Mostly though, the only side effects you’ll feel are perhaps a little pre-workout tingle along with energy, focus, and the power and endurance you’ve been looking for.

Where To Buy BlackWolf Pre-Workout

At $44.99 for about a one-month supply when you account for rest days (which they’ve “generously” marked down from $54.99), BlackWolf Pre-Workout ain’t cheap. They offer free shipping on all orders to the USA, which removes the extra cost that shipping adds.

BlackWolf Pre-Workout Website

So far, the product appears to only be available on BlackWolf’s site and a few sites that link to it.

Final Thought

BlackWolf Pre-Workout is an effective formula that can help you experience increased energy, focus, and endurance to maximize the efficiency of your workout sessions. It contains many tested ingredients that help achieve this goal and is also suitable for vegans.

The only downsides to this pre-workout are that it contains artificial flavors and sweeteners, and it could be more affordable. Other than those, it’s an excellent fuel source for people looking to do more in the gym!
