Fiber Blend (4g)

The fiber blend contains jerusalem artichoke root and chicory root, which both provide sources of inulin. And inulin is a prebiotic fiber, meaning it helps to feed the good bacteria in your gut.

This can lead to enhanced gut health and digestive function, which may also reduce bloating and other digestive symptoms. 

It’s no wonder then why many specific gut health supplements use these fiber sources too, such as Primal Gut Restore

4g of fiber is a decent dose overall, so these effects are more likely to occur.

Bovine Collagen Peptides (2g)

Bovine collagen peptides are a popular source of collagen, which is a protein found in many areas of the body.

Collagen is essential for the health of your skin, joints, hair, nails, and other areas. So taking in collagen peptides may promote a wide range of benefits, inside and out.

Another interesting benefit of collagen is improved gut health, which is partly due to the glycine content in it.

The dose isn’t very high in Morning Kick, but it’s still decent.

Greens Blend (500mg)

The Greens blend consists of spirulina, kale, wheatgrass, oat grass, alfalfa, chlorella, barley grass, and lemon juice.

Besides lemon juice, all of the ingredients are healthy supergreens that provide many valuable nutrients. You have spirulina and chlorella which are health-boosting algae, kale which is a high-quality vegetable, and various sources of cereal grasses (e.g. wheatgrass) which also have many health benefits. 

These foods provide many nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, iron, magnesium, folate, and fiber. Not to mention various antioxidants, such as chlorophyll, lutein, and zeaxanthin.

Consuming greens in general offers a wide variety of benefits, such as for your gut, immune function, detoxification, liver health, metabolism, and more!

The main issue is that the dose of 500mg is pretty low.

Ashwagandha Extract (200mg)

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb, which means it’s an herb that helps the body handle stress. It’s also often included in many stress-busting supplements, such as Avantera Unwind.

Various compounds in ashwagandha root can help the body recover from stress and positively impact various physiological processes (such as neurotransmitter production, adrenal function, and even immunity).

One of the most well-researched benefits of ashwagandha is reduced stress and anxiety. But it may also enhance cognitive function, reduce depression, and improve physical performance, among other things.

200mg is decent, but a bit lower than the generally recommended 300 to 600mg.

Probiotic Blend (5 Billion CFU)

The Probiotic Blend contains six different probiotics, and it adds up to a pretty solid 5 Billion CFU per serving.

Most of the probiotics are Lactobaccilus based, and these are generally well-researched and proven to offer gut health benefits.

Some of the possible benefits from probiotics are improved gut barrier function, enhanced digestion, reduced pathogenic bacteria, and decreased digestive symptoms (such as bloating or diarrhea). 

Does Morning Kick Work?

Morning Kick seems likely to offer general health and wellness benefits. One thing we noticed right away is that it really isn’t that much of an energizer though.

There really aren’t any ingredients in Morning Kick that are natural stimulants or energizers. And this is sort of confusing given the whole “Morning Kick” name.

But Morning Kick still definitely has some solid ingredients in it that can boost your health. And this may indirectly improve energy. For example, the fiber, greens, and probiotics could enhance gut health and nutrient absorption, which would also in turn give you more energy.

Plus, ashwagandha can reduce stress which may also lead to feeling lighter and more mentally stable.

We can’t guarantee any huge claims for this product though. Overall, just think of it as a natural wellness booster with subtle effects for energy and alertness.

How Does Morning Kick Compare?

Morning Kick is different from most natural energizers since it really doesn’t have any main energizing ingredients that we usually see, such as green tea extract, ginseng, or B vitamins.

But it also has a few things not always included in other energizers, such as collagen and fiber. With these things considered, Morning Kick is more of an all-around wellness drink as opposed to an energizer alone.

If you’re looking for a wellness drink that focuses a bit more on energy, something like Aila Get Going may be worth checking out. Aila Get Going contains matcha green tea, b-complex vitamins, and just a bit of caffeine, which combined offer natural energy support. 

It’s also filled with health-boosters such as bee pollen, maca, and spirulina for all-around wellness. Aila Get Going is also considerably lower-priced than Morning Kick, at a regular price of $39 for 24 servings vs $79.95 for 30 servings.

Another supplement that’s designed for energy and overall wellness is MUD WTR. This product takes a different approach by using mainly medicinal mushrooms, such as chaga, lion’s mane, and reishi. Although they do have other ingredients too, such as cinnamon, turmeric, and a masala chai tea blend. 

These ingredients together can offer benefits for energy, immunity, decreased inflammation, and overall health. It’s also lower than Morning Kick at $60 for 30 servings.

Morning Kick is evidently priced pretty high. It’s not the most reasonably priced product we’ve seen especially since the benefits likely won’t be hugely noticeable. Plus, some of the ingredients aren’t dosed that high. 

Even with the discounts, Morning Kick is still a bit overpriced from what we can tell.

Verdict: Morning Kick Review

Morning Kick is a decent natural health booster and energizer. However, it’s nothing miraculous and doesn’t necessarily stand out from other similar supplements.

There are possible health benefits. And it does offer a nice mix of ingredients, such as probiotics, fiber, collagen, and greens. But the price also seems a bit high for what you’re getting.

Most people will likely do better with more affordable, effective options. But Morning Kick is still worth looking into especially if you just want an all-around, subtle health boost and energy lift.
